Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Kron The Undying Does The Trick

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands social media challenge. I will be sharing with you one of the battles I had this week. This was probably one of my only wins 2 or 3 days ago. After this battle, I have had a lot of loses till around late night yesterday and around 12 am today.

For this particular battle, I used my account @yahuzah. It is my designated spl account.

I decided to pick the obsidian summoner once again for this battle. At the time, I had just acquired a new monster card and so I wanted to test how using it must feel. Plus when I checked the previous line ups of my opponent, I realized he does not really use the Obsidian summoner and with the mana that was allowed, I thought I could pull some surprises.

For my first position, I picked the Kron The Undying. This was the new monster I acquired and wanted to test it in battle. Kron The Undying has a mana of 10, health of 10, speed of 2 and magic attack of 3. What is special about this is that, it restores a portion of the monster’s health in each round. That’s very useful to have especially when you do not have a healer card in your line up.

When I clicked to rumble, my opponent’s summoner grabbed his cards a +1 shield and speed. My summoner granted my cards with a +1 magic attack.

Even with that, I attacked first with my Regal Peryton because that had the highest speed of 6. My first attack was against my opponent’s first card, Diemon Shark and did a damage of -2 health to the monster. Diemon Shark attacked next and did a damage of -2 health to my Kron The Undying. My opponent’s third card, Venari WaveSmith did a damage of -1 health to Kron The Undying. A portion of my opponent’s first card health was returned by the healing card, Merdaali Guardian in his lineup. My opponent’s second card, Deeplurker then attacked my last monster, Fungus Fiend and killed it. Kron The Undying did the last attack of the first round after restoring a portion of its health and making a damage of -4 health to my opponent’s first card.

I attacked first with my Regal Peryton again and a damage of -2 health was made to Diemon Shark. My opponent attacked my Kron The Undying rendering a -2 health damage. My opponent attacked again with Venari WaveSmith with a -1 health damage and Merdaali Guardian restored some health to my opponent’s first card. My opponent’s second card, Deeplurker then attacked my last monster, but this time he attacked Regal Peryton inflicting a damage of -3 health.

Kron The Undying healed back with +3 health and attacked my opponent’s first card with a damage of 4 magic which killed my opponent concluding round 2.

Regal Peryton attacked DeepLurker who was now in the first position and reduced its health from 6 to 4. Venari Wave Smith from my opponent’s line up attacked my Kron The Undying and did a -1 health damage. Merdaali Guardian healed Venari WaveSmith taking his health to 6. Venari WaveSmith then attacked Kron and did a damage of -3 health. But Kron healed back to a health of 9 and did a -4 health damage with a magic attack concluding the round.

Regal Peryton attacked my opponent’s Venari WaveSmith with a magic attack and did a -1 health damage. Venari WaveSmith attacked Kron The Undying with a magic attack and did of -1 health which Kron restored with its healing abilities. Kron then attacked and killed my opponent’s Venari WaveSmith concluding round 5.

My opponent’s last card stepped into the first position to salvage his team’s losses but to no avail. Albatross from my opponent’s lineup was attacked by Regal Peryton and got killed concluding the round 6 and the battle.

Victory at last.

I finished this battle in 6 rounds with none of my monsters getting destroyed. Huge credits goes to my Kron The Undying card which has proven to be very worthy.
