Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Making Use of The Rental Market

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands social media challenge for this week. I will be describing one of the important aspects of splinterlands today. Old players already know about this but I believe it would be very useful to new players as well.

Web3 gaming has been a topic of discussion for sometime now and I have been fortunate to get into it via the hive blockchain. The splinterlands game is the first web3 game I have gotten myself into which is a card game that involves selecting cards and strategizing them for battles.

For anyone looking to play a web3 game, I would suggest splinterlands. It is not so complex to understand once you take your time to read the gameplay and ask some questions. For people already playing and those looking to play, I would want to talk about the card resting system.

The game involves investing in cards that will help you to get better playing experience. However, for some of us who do not have the money to buy some very good cards, the card renting market is the best place to look. The renting market is a very good one I have benefitted a lot from.

_{Card rentals}

There are many good cards you can rent from which will help you to get a very good playing experience, winning more battles and earning more. You might be wondering how you would know the right cards to rent. For me, the best way to rent the right cards is by playing more battles. By playing more battles, you get to see different cards different players use.

If you just jump into the rent market, you might be overwhelmed because the cards that can be rented are a lot. When you look at some of their stats, you might just end up renting them all. That is why I believe the best way to rent the right cards, is to rent ones you see your enemies use in battle that destroy you and also appeal to you.

You should know that currently not all cards that can be used in the wild league can be used in the modern league. So, if you are someone who plays the modern league more, you should take that into consideration when choosing cards to rent. All cards used in the modern league however can be used in the wild league so when you rent cards available in the wild league, you can access them when playing the wild league.

One thing I have also realized is that a lot of the cards are not that costly. You can find some really cool cards which cost less than 1 dec per day for renting at level 1. Some even still cost less than 1 dec at level 2.

_{Price of chaos at the time of writing}

Those of us that can afford to buy cards too have the card sales market available for that. Not all cards can be rented so for some cards, you can only get them through purchases.

And also, do not forget about the chaos packs as a newbie. You can get some very powerful cards from the chaos packs you purchase. Each chaos pack has 5 cards in them so imagine opening 5 cards. That makes it 25 cards for you in total. Nice right? And I believe at the moment, it’s not up to 3 hive per card.

So, this is the little I have for splinterlands newbies today. It’s not too late to join the game.
