Summoner chosen:

For this battle, I went with the Mylor Crowling summoner because I wanted to take advantage of the thorns. I anticipated my opponent with have at least one or 2 monsters with the melee attack.

For my first position in my lineup, I picked the Fungus Fiend monster. It’s a zero mana card but with 2 health and one melee attack.

monsters in position for the battle

I attacked first with Kron the Undying and unfortunately did no damage to my opponent’s first card, Pelacor Conjuerer. This is because of the divine shield ability granted by my opponent’s summoner. It ignores the first damage. Venari CrystalSmith and Xenith Archer both attacked my Fungus Fiend with a range attack of 1 each and killed it. He then attacked again with his Stitch Leech but this time attacked my Mycelin Morphid and killed it. And of course, due to its divine shield, it ignored the thorns damage from my monster. That concluded round 1.

After losing 2 monsters already, I had loads to do with my remaining card. I kicked off round 2 with the first attack. Kron the Undying attacked my enemy’s Pelacor Conjuerer and without the divine shield to protect him, I did a damage of -3 health with my monster’s magic. Venari CrystalSmith healed my enemy’s first card and attacked my Kron doing a damage of -1 health. Xenith Archer attacked my monster rendering a damage of -1 health. My enemy’s last card, Stitch Leech attacked with melee and finally, my thorns ability worked. Stitch Leech’s health was reduced to 1 ending round 2.

Kron The Undying healed and attacked my enemy’s first card. Venari CrystalSmith stepped into first position and my enemy’s Xenith Archer and Stich Leech attacked my only monster. Damage was done back to my enemy’s Stitch Leech killing it. That concluded round 3.

Kron the Undying healed and attacked my opponent’s Venari CrystalSmith but no damage was done. Xenith Archer attacked my Kron and did a -1 health damage.

My Kron the Undying restored a portion of its health and attacked my opponent’s Venari CrystalSmith rendering a damage of -3 health. It healed itself and Xenith Archer attacked my Kron doing a damage of -1 health to end the round.

Kron The Undying my only monster left standing healed back to a health of 10 and killed my enemy’s Venari CrystalSmith.

Kron The Undying attacked my enemy’s remaining monster, Xenith Archer but did no damage.

Kron The Undying attacked my enemy’s, Xenith Archer and killed it to finish the battle.

The 8 rounds battle was quite short as it lasted for less than a minute but glad to see I am finally making progress with games that allow for small total mana.

Here is my battle link. You can watch here how I was able to slay my opponent.
