Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - Rebellion General Sale Is Coming

Hello friends, hello splinterland warriors, welcome to my entry to this week's splinterlands social media challenge. I wrote about the rebellion packs some time back as part of the splinterlands social media challenge and this week, I am back again to share some more news on the rebellion packs.

The rebellion booster packs pre-sale lasted for a long time and ended about a week ago. It is mow time to anticipate the general sale and anticipate seeing the new cards, tactics and a whole lot of new things or features being added to our beautiful game.

I am excited to see the new features being added because first of all I have to admit the designs of the rebellion cards look very beautiful. When I saw the first sneak peak, I couldn't stop looking at them. I literally spent more than 10 minutes just admiring the beauty of the cards.

Currently, as at the time of writing, the general sale is scheduled to be released on the 5th of December 2023. It will be on Tuesday and the updates and general sale with the new features will be released during the scheduled maintenance time. I cannot stressed how excited I am for Tuesday.

On Tuesday when the general sale will be made available, all the packs that were bought during the pre-sale will be available for opening and all the new features will be added. I was able to buy only 7 packs during the pre-sale and I can't wait to see the cards I get.

The number of rebellion packs that will be available for purchasing will be limited at an amount of 9.5M. Just like how the chaos packs work, there will be 5 cards in each rebellion pack purchased. so, if you buy 2 packs, you will get 10 packs.

Each rebellion pack during the general sale will cost 5000 credits or 5000 DEC but with VOUCHERS, you will get the rebellion packs at a discounted price.

Did you ever feel like ever before a battle began, some damage can be done to your team? Well, that is the case with these new rebellion packs. With the Gobalano Soldier unit, you will be able to damage your enemy's team before the battle even begins. The Gobalano Soldier will do this by laying the smack down on your enemy's rearmost unit and destroying their armor. This attack will also leave your enemy vulnerable for a follow-up attack.

The Infernal Firestorm is one unit I am excited about because I like magic attack cards with extremely high health. The Infernal Firestorm will have a health of 11, speed of 4, shield of 7, a magic attack of 3 but unfortunately a mana of 10. Added in the flank of your line up, you will be able to render a high-attack melee card in the second position of your enemy's line up and shred through the defense.

The Chaos Animator unlike the Infernal Firestorm a low-mana support unit. The amplify ability of this unit provides a critical boost to cards with Thorns, Return Fire, and Magic Reflect. Void Armor ensures it can go the distance against magic attackers. The Chaos Animator will also have redemption which can turn the tide of the battle when it is killed.

Zeddica is one interesting feature the rebellion packs comes with. Zeddica is going to be the first dual summoner. Use Zeddica when the death and water decks are available in battle, and you can use cards from both elements in your team. There will be new strategies of the dual-element gameplay.
