Splinterlands Social Media Challenge - The Thorns Effect

Hello everyone, this is my entry to the splinterlands social media challenge this week. For this battle, I used my account @yahuzah which is my spl account.

I chose Mylor Krowling to take advantage of the thorns ability because I anticipated my enemy would bring monsters with melee attacks.

Round 1

My opponent’s summoner gave the team their buffs with a +1 melee and +1 health while mine granted my lineup with the thorns ability.

My enemy was the first to attack with their 4th monster, Serpentine Spy. My first monster Fungus Fiend retaliated with the thorns and both monsters died. I attacked next with my remaining monster Kron The Undying and killed my enemy’s first monster, Scorch Fiend.

My enemy attacked my monster with Ureaus and did a damage of -3 health. I in turn did a damage of -1 shield. My enemy attacked again with the new first monster, Flame Monkey and reduced my health my 1. I did a -2 thorns health damage to Flame Monkey.

Round 2

My Kron The Undying healed back to a health of 8 from 5 and killed my enemy’s Flame Monkey. Ureaus attacked my Kron rendering a -3 health damage but not without receiving a -2 health damage from thorns damage.

Scorch Fiend attacked from my enemy’s line up, did a damage of -2 health and had a health of 1 remaining from the thorns damage inflicted. This ended round 2.

Round 3

Kron the Undying healed back to a health of 6, attacked and killed my enemy’s Scorch Fiend monster.

**Ureaus attacked my Kron and died from the thorns damage. This ended round 3.

Round 4

Chaos Agent being the only monster remaining from my opponent stepped into position to face my Kron the Undying

At this point I knew I had won because Chaos Agent wouldn’t attack.

So, I attacked with my monster and killed my enemy’s Chaos Agent ending the battle in victory.

This battle was fought and won in 4 rounds.
