BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge! RULESET: Lost Magic
Hello, great warriors of Splinterlands, I hope you all are doing good and enjoying your day. Today I am again here with a new entry for the BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge "RULESET: Lost Magic
" which is offered by @splinterlands. I was battling since yesterday to get the lost magic ruleset but I didn't get that ruleset in my all battles. It was the last day of the challenge so I am sharing this entry for the Weak Magic ruleset. You can also participate in this weekly challenge, to know more about how to participate in this challenge visit this link.
ABOUT: Lost MagicRULESET:
Lost Magic
is a ruleset in Splinterlands battles in which monsters with the Magic attack may not be used in battle.- Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks.
- Use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
- Units with 2 types of attack (which include magic) cannot be used.
About Weak Magic:
Well, I didn't get the Lost Magic so I am sharing my battle with the Weak Magic ruleset. It is a ruleset in which magic attack monsters hit armor before reducing health.

Battle Ruleset:
The battle ruleset was of
Silenced Summoner and Weak Magic
. The allowed mana cap was 99
and Fire, water, and Dragon Splinter Summoners were not active in this battle.Battle Summoner
I choose
BORTUS
as a Summoner for this battle which is an Untamed edition Water Splinter Summoner. In this battle, the summoner has no role because the ruleset was of Silenced summoner but I selected the water splinter because my focus was given in the Water splinter. Most of the time I am using this summoner whenever I am playing with the water splinter. The ability of this Summoner is that it reduces the 1
Magic attack of all Magic attack monsters in the enemy team. I have upgraded it to level 4 and under this summoner, I can use up to level 5 common cards. I will try to upgrade it soon to a higher level.
1. THE KRAKEN:
In the first position, I used the
THE KRAKEN
which is a melee attack reward edition legendary water splinter monster that costs 12 mana and has Taunt ability at level 1. I used it in the first position because this monster has the Taunt(All enemy Monsters target this Monster (if they are able to))
ability and high health so it will stay longer in the first position. Also, the battle mana was high so I choose all high mana monsters in this battle. I always use it in the first position whenever I am playing with the water splinter. I have upgraded it to level 2 in which it gains one more ability Demoralize
and it works very well for me.
2. DJINN OSHANNUS:
In the second position, I used
DJINN OSHANNUS
, which is also a reward edition Legendary magic attack monster from the water Splinter. It costs 8 mana, does a -2 magic attack, and has Void
ability at level 1. At level 2 it gains one more ability Phase
. In this battle, I used it in the second position because it has high speed and good health so it will stay longer when it goes to the first place. I have upgraded it to level 2 and most of the time I am using it in my battles.
3. KULU MASTERMIND:
In the third position, I used
KULU MASTERMIND
which is a Soulbound reward edition melee attack legendary water Splinter Monster. It costs 9 mana, gives -4 melee damage, and at level 1 it has two abilities Weapons Training
(Adjacent Monsters gain half this Monster's attack if they have no attack themselves) and Opportunity
. I have upgraded it to level 2 in which it gains one more ability Shield. I used it in the third position because of its Opportunity ability and also it has a shield ability so it will take less damage from the melee and range attack monsters.
4. PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS:
In the fourth position, I used
PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS
, which is an Untamed edition Legendary magic attack monster from the water Splinter. It costs 10 mana, gives -3 magic damage, and has two abilities (Dodge and Flying)
at level 1. I used it in the fourth position because it does a high magic attack along with its high speed. Currently, I have level 1 and it works fine for me in battles.
5. NERISSA TRIDAWN:
In the fifth position, I used
NERISSA TRIDAWN
, which is a Chaos edition Epic magic attack monster from the water Splinter. It costs 9 mana, gives -3 magic damage, and has no ability at level 1. I used it in the fifth position because it has a high magic attack and also has high health. I was having more mana so I used all monsters that cost high mana. Currently, I still have this monster at level 1 and it works fine for me in battles.
6. AXEMASTER:
In the last position, I used
AXEMASTER
which is a reward edition range attack Epic water Splinter monster. It costs 7 mana and gives -2 range damage in each strike along with the Double Strike ability at level 1. I used it in the last position because it is a range-attack monster and range-attack monsters mostly do attack from some distance if there is no change in the ruleset. Currently, I have this card at level 1 and it works fine for me.
Battle Result:
I have won this battle which you can see in the below screenshot and I was rewarded 0.49 SPS for this victory.
Did your strategy work?
Yes, my strategy worked very well for me in this battle and I won it.
