Elven Mystic/ Fanart Splinterlands

Greetings Hive!!! Triz here!!

It's almost the end of the week, I hope you are having a good time today! I recently finished something I was working on so I went to the Splinterlands page to choose what would be my next FanArt and there are several characters that I liked but I'll leave it for the future, for the moment I'll keep this one that also caught my attention and it's a Mystic which is great.

I like to select the characters that I'm going to do, but if you're a fan of Splinterlands and would like me to do one of the cards, let me know and maybe the next thing you see on my blog is my version of that character.

For this design I wanted to do something simpler but I liked the idea of something a little darker so I made some changes and some more mystery for this Mystic character would be nice hahhaah. On the card it looks to me like the character is doing some kind of ritual to a cute little bird, so I wanted to add that but the idea of some crows I liked more.

As in many occasions I used only one layer because this way I didn't complicate my life with so many, I didn't make a sketch either, everything started with a stain that would be the clothes and then I was fixing what I could see to improve the position , as I said something simple, nothing so special in the position I just wanted to see the eyes of the character.

After I had the hood ready I made the face of the character ohhhh and added some details in gold and the star symbol on top of the hood.

Normally to make the publications I save about 4 or 6 images of the steps I'm doing but today I wanted to simplify a little I made a Gif but for this I didn't save the images as usual but in the same file the same layers that I duplicated every time I added something more to the drawing would serve me, so the images of the process would be closer to each other, I thought it was better ahaahh.

For the background, I placed some crows as well but a little more distorted. As for the lighting I didn't want lights that would take away the protagonism of the eyes, so for the background I only used a little but very little purple color to give a little backlight.

Final result

As a final image we have a mysterious friend who seems to be up to something, the crows rather than normal birds I didn't want to focus so much on them to give them so much volume, I wanted them to be like spirits that accompany him, a little color in their eyes at least to those who were closer -,.
