Good morning dear Hivers and Splinterlands fans!!!

I present to you the #FanArt I created for the weekly Splinterlands social media challenge. This time, I chose the card -=Lord of Fire=-, which depicts a powerful being who delights in controlling the flames. 👿 🔥🔥🔥

For my illustration, I wanted to capture the power and strength of this card, that when I saw it and read its description was what it transmitted to me so I did not hesitate to choose it for this week and so my design inspired by it was born.

However, I think this time I changed a little more than usual the design I made inspired by this card, I let myself go when making it and every change I made seemed to be right, not that I tried to change the original card is just that I love to create these illustrations based on the #Splinterlands cards and I love to put a more personal touch to them. 🤗💖💖

I wish I could be part of the creators of such cards, it would be a dream come true!!!! But this seems to be impossible. Of course, not from my point... 🥺 Below, I show you the creative process I followed to bring my #FanArt to life. 🫶🏻✨⬇️

Lord of Fire

𝕿𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖎𝖘 𝖙𝖍𝖊 𝖘𝖍𝖔𝖗𝖙 𝖇𝖎𝖔𝖌𝖗𝖆𝖕𝖍𝖞 𝖔𝖋 𝖙𝖍𝖎𝖘 𝖋𝖎𝖊𝖗𝖞 𝖈𝖍𝖆𝖗𝖆𝖈𝖙𝖊𝖗:

Only the bravest summoners of the Burning Lands have the skills necessary to summon the King of the Fire Demons. Known as the Lord of Fire, he is said to spend his time lounging in his underlava palace in one of the great molten schisms of the Burning Lands. The Lord of Fire cares little for the activity of his Fire Demons, but whenever his rule is challenged, he is quick to prove his power to his underlings. He controls fire as a sculptor works clay and scoffs at shields and armor. The Lord of Fire can simply burn you from within.

To start this sketch, I used some lines and spots in a carefree way to capture my initial idea. Although it wasn't very clean, it worked perfectly for what I was looking for.

After the above atrocity, with a bit of gray, I started filling in to give volume to the character without worrying about the details. 🤣

As I progressed, I cleaned up the strokes from the previous sketch to improve the look of the character and remove ugly lines that could hinder my view.

As I improved the look of the character, I added the eyes, among other details. I made some slight changes to the original character, but nothing too drastic "I think 🤣". And so, the base to start giving him color was ready.

Once I had the base with some color and texture, I changed the initial grayish look I had. That was just the base to be able to add the details and start bringing the character to life.

After I collapsed all the layers into one, I was fixing the details I had pending so I could get closer to the end.

For the end I added the ambient light on the back and put a lot of fire particles worthy of the Lord of Fire and some details on the nose among other things and now I had my #FanArt complete.
