Chaos Everywhere...

I had planned a much different post than this but the recent update regarding Bronze League Rewards is a far more pressing matter for me... a Bronze League Competitor... I'm just going to let all this current frustration out "open letter" style so... here we go.

I realized rather early on that I likely wouldn't be able to afford to move up in leagues from Bronze due to card prices but then the rental system was introduced... a nice way to play the game, maybe profit a little and if you just happen to be skilled (and lucky) enough get a place in the Top 10 Leader Board for the League...

But now (because people abused the system) I am being punished... @aggroed @yabapmatt ... I have well over $1,000 in holdings in just DEC and SPS alone! This feels like you have very literally spat in my face saying my money isn't good enough for this game! How else am I supposed to feel?

I PLAY THE GAME! I play a single account main and have an alt I play when I run my ECR down too low... I was in the process of making big plans for Chaos Legion drop with my Guild... I try to be an active member of this excellent community that is being built... but the way this situation has been handled does not feel proper to me.

I'm trying very hard to be patient here so I can make a smart FINANCIAL decision as opposed to a sloppy emotional one... but I am up in arms... very disappointed.

Some of the best PLAYERS in this game play in Bronze, not because they choose to, but because they HAVE to... I started playing just shortly before Untamed sold out, so I have been unable to buy packs essentially my entire Splinterlands career. I would love to move up to Silver but it just doesn't seem realistic, rentals for Bronze are already ridiculous, I can't imagine renting a Silver Deck in this economy.

I truly love this game, but punishing all of Bronze League because you allowed some bad actors to exploit the current system too long is total BS.
