Taking A Look At The Lion And The Eagle 1oz Silver Coin

Evening folks

I was doing my usual silver searching online and came across the new Lion and the Eagle 1oz silver coin from the Royal Mint.

The coin depicts 2 national symbols, The British Lion and The American Eagle together on the same side of the coin. The work does look very impressive but again sadly let down by the current Monarch on the back.

Created by the Royal Mint in partnership with John M. Mercanti, the Chief Engraver at the United States Mint from 2006 to 2010.
Created to celebrate the strong ties between the United Kingdom and The United States.

A very nice coin with good detail and attractiveness but sadly unless I can get it cheap, it will be another coin I will never add to my collection.
