Splinterlands social Media challenge: My First cards.

Hello everyone! I sound excited right? Well, you are very correct because I am excited, if there is one thing on my to-do list that I've been meaning to do, it is to be among those who play the splinter games. So lately I've been keeping myself busy by going through the Splinterland website and exploring the different characters that my eyes were beholding.
Firstly, the interior was looking incredible, like I haven't seen any like it before. As a newbie, I was a bit confused, but then, like they say, there is no harm in exploring a website, right? So I put that into practice and started with the campaign because everything has a beginning, and before people grow into masters of a thing, they have passed through the beginning stage, and that is the learning stage. No one just masters a thing, though, "true right?".

When I clicked on the campaign button, it took me to book 1 and that has to do with the "Waur Medge Academy" an academy battle magic, a place where champions are forged, that is the bringing of a great journey into the world of battles but then the road to greatness is never an easy one to take because at every point there are bound to be obstacles on the way.
Even before arriving, a lot has been threatening, and then arriving, you would be faced with your first test: "How incredible is that?" Well, it is very incredible and mind-blowing. Arriving successfully at Waur Medge, there are the classmates at the gate, standing there like a welcoming band sent to welcome the new students, but not all of them are friendly.

Then the headmaster, "Bimbelnok," welcomes the new students and shares some words of affirmation on the formation of champions. Where legends are made through grit and guile. And here comes the big question: "Will you be among the champions?"
And this brings me to the two types of cards used when stepping into the ring to fight "Archons and Units". Archons are differentiated from units, and then how can one identify these cards? Archons don't fight; they only possess the power to determine which element can be summoned on the team, and not just that, some Archons can grant Units with some special benefit in the arena.
Then the second card is "Unit", it's the main card that faces the battle head-on with the opponents. When you enter the battle arena, you are gonna choose a fighter and make that fighter an archon who will determine the element to summon, which can be used for the battle. And another option will pop up requesting you to select your Unit, and after the selection process is done, the opponents will appear as well, and the battle is about to begin.

So let me talk about the most exciting thing, which was that I got to have my first fight, and guess what, it was incredible. Not like I won the battle, though, at the start, but then with the first failure, I got to understand the process even better. I made use of my unit and Archon which was incredible.
As the game grows further, I get to unlock other characters that would even make the game more fun. Currently, I can boldly say I'm getting attracted more. A little about the one that was more fun was the use of magic attacks, I got to unlock a character that possesses a magic attack and used it in units for a more defensive purpose.
Now this brings me to the "Abilities" part. Abilities are special traits that can turn the tide of any battle, and they provide a team with special benefits.

I'm learning more about how to observe my units and perfect my lineup. You can participate in the contest by clicking on the link.
