Splinterlands Art Contest Week 155 ❤

Hello guys. Heres my entry for this week art contest by splinterlands. Been joining the contest for a couple of weeks but still no luck so i try different strategy for this week. For week 155, i try to create or give an idea for a new neutral monster card.

i start on searching the web on what can be a source of idea for new monster. And this tiny creature bump on my search web.

        **Demodex folliculorum**

So what actually is our new friendly monster here?

Demodex folliculorum is a microscopic mite that can only survive on the skin of humans. Most people have D. folliculorum on their skin. Usually, the mites do not cause any harm, and are therefore considered an example of commensalism rather than parasitism.

Around 65 types of species that our little friend have and 2 of it are found living on human skin. Good thing is, its not harmful and cannot be seen by bare eyesight. Its dimension is approximately 0.33 mm and usually stay at your forhead,nose and chin.
Another fact!
Demodex have no anal orifice to evict, means they accumulate and build up to death bursting with feces!

So after finding my subject. Il try to look for some cool photos of it on the web and found this..

Do some editing like removing the background and giving him some retouch

i create a blankcard which will our new monster will fit in

Adding our tiny friend on the frame and doing some retouch for him to fit perfectly

Time to think of name, abilities, attack speed etc.

For its mana,attack,health,speed and abilites

i choose to give him
• 0 mana - zero mana so it can be a must have card on every battle since it will be a neautral monster.
Would be a Rival to furious chicken for this also have 0 mana but then have attack and abilities.

• 3 health - because giving him a high health will make him "op" on other monster.

• Attack/attack speed - again for not making him "op" to balance the gameplay

And for the abilities

• Sneak - obviously because you will not notice that hes there.

• dodge - because of its size. Ofcourse its not easy to hit him.

• life leech - because he is literally eating you to keep him alive.

So there it is, The process how i made this tiny neutral monster we have.
