Splinterlands - Lava Spider a spider that inhabits the fire deck, learn how to use it in battle.

Today we are going to talk about a spider that lives in splinterlands so if you are afraid of them I recommend you not to read this post, but what kind of spider is this?

She is a newcomer from chaos legion in splinterlands and inhabits the fire deck and yes you must not have guessed wrong, this spider weaves threads of fire and that is why she belongs to the fire deck, her name is Lava Spider.

But calm down if you don't like spiders and even less those that use fire you don't need to be afraid of them attacking you because they usually live in volcanoes so if you don't intend to go to any then you should be safe for now.

Now let's talk about your abilities and how you should use them in splinterlands.

imag 2.png

As you can see it is a card that attacks from a distance so the first tip I can give you is to always use it as far away from the first position as possible because it becomes useless in that position.

It is also a card that doesn't have such a high mana cost so it will be useful for almost any type of battle and its main skill is Snipe and you can use it at any level of the card, for those who don't know this skill it makes the card attack monsters with ranged or magic attacks, but when it has no cards like that then it attacks any card that is not in the first position. It is a very useful skill as many spell and ranged cards are very difficult to deal with at first.

She also has the Snare skill starting at level 6 and this skill makes the card's attack take away the enemy card's flying ability if it has it, so it's useful to facilitate the defeat of cards with the fly ability that usually dodge. of many attacks and is also useful in the Earthquake rule making these cards have no advantage over that rule.

And its last skill is Poison and you can only use it if Lava Spider is level 10 and with this skill it has a 50% chance to apply it to the enemy card that attacks and take 2 damage at the end of the turn, which is very interesting since it will compensate for the fact that she doesn't have much attack at level 10.

Now that you know Lava Spider so let's talk about how she is on the battlefield and what cards I used.

imag 3.png

In the summoner's choice I chose Tarsa because she gives +1 melee attack to all melee cards and as my team is made up mostly of these cards then it's the best choice and in addition she gives +1 life which is quite a lot useful for cards to last longer on the battlefield.

imag 4.png

I put Antoid Platoon in the 1st position because it has 2 shield and also the Shield skill that causes melee and ranged damage received to decrease so it is a good choice for this position.

imag 6.png

In the second position I put the Radiated Brute because as I used the summoner Tarsa so the best would be to have the maximum number of melee cards on the field and also because it has the Reach ability that allows you to attack from the second position so it's a great card but it has little velocity.

imag 8.png

In the third position we have the Tenyii Striker with the sneak ability that allows you to attack the enemy monsters of the last position so it is very useful since cards like this usually give work, in addition it will also serve to tank if the first 2 are defeated.

imag 7.png

In fourth position we have Serpentine Spy and he has the Opportunity skill that makes him attack the enemy card with less hp so he will serve to deliver the final blow, I also put him in fourth position because he has very little health so no It's a good idea to keep him very close to the front line and not the back line as the enemy may have cards that attack there as well.

imag 9.png

In the fifth position we have Lava Spider that will help Tenyii Striker and Serpentine Spy to eliminate the cards from behind and in addition she has a good amount of life and since she doesn't have much damage so it's better for me to lose her than the Tenyii or Serpentine, but that's if you have enemy cards that attack the back row, if you don't, it's still a good position since ranged cards don't attack in the first position.

imag 10.png

And in the last position we have the Radiated Scorcher and its only function will be to take the attacks of enemy cards that attack the back line since it has a melee attack and doesn't attack from that position, I also used it in the last position because I only had 1 mana to spend so he was the best option, but if you don't have enemy cards that attack the back row then he'll be useful if you want to deliver the final blow when your turn comes.

My battle was against a pretty boring earth deck combo that everyone should already know, but was it enough to defeat me?

BATTLE

Round 1

imag 11.png

This round showed the importance of having cards like Tenyii Striker, Serpentine Spy and Lava Spider on the battlefield because the enemy's strongest cards were in the back row but they had low health so it wasn't a big problem.

Round 2

imag 12.png

In this round 2 enemy cards had already been defeated and one of them was the Psychic Goblin that had the highest damage and also the ability to heal the first position card which would make the battle much more difficult if he was still on the field.

Round 3

imag 13.png

In this round my Antoid Platoon had already been defeated but the enemy now only has one card so I don't have much to worry about.

Round 4

imag 14.png

And in this round the victory was decided and even against this combination of the earth deck I only lost 2 cards, so if you have difficulty against it you already know what to use.

And that was the battle I wanted to share this week and I hope you have lost your fear of spiders because in splinterlands they are very useful.
