SPLINTERLANDS:FROM NOVICE TO DIAMOND1 IN LESS THAN A MONTH

avatar

Hi guys,

In this post, I would like to talk about my experience with Splinterlands, from the very first day until now (it's been 2 months).

FIRST SEASON

I started choosing 2 decks, one was Death and the other was Earth, but I forgot to rent the Earth summoner: I played the first hours blocked in Bronze1 for a lot of time, without realizing what the problem was!
Then, I noticed it and I rented the card, finally starting to play decently!
I stayed some hours in the Silver league and then in the gold one (having some problems with some matches' rules) but I was happy anyway, because my goal was to reach gold1.
After some time, I was starting to stay at the end of Gold1, until I reached Diamond3.
I was really satisfied because for being the first time I was playing, it was a really nice result! I was also more relaxed because I started to get the hang of it.

SECOND SEASON

With more confidence from the start of this season, I rented the cards, this time with the maximum level, without problems. I started to progress from the Silver ligue to Diamond3 without problems here too.
After a bit of time I started to fluctuate from Diamond3 to Diamond2, until I started to stay in Diamond2.
During almost all this second season, I played in Diamond2 without considering that I could reach Diamond1. But, before the season ended (I had around 2/3 hours left) I started to keep going until I reached Diamond1 too! I was truly proud of myself but I didn't want to continue playing, for fear of returning back to Diamond2, before my rewards were calculated at the end of the season (60 chests in Diamond1 vs the 40 chests of the first season in Diamond3!)

My unexpected result!

THIRD SEASON

The third season didn't start well as the previous one.
I kept playing in Gold1 and I could not reach Diamond3, except for a couple of times...But i kept coming back to Gold1.
After a few days, finally, Diamond3 was mine again. It was surely a relief, because Diamond was the league I aimed for.
Then I reached and stayed in Diamond2, and I was satisfied. I think that in this season I had problems with the rules that were present this time, that went against my decks.
Still, I had fun anyways, and I also reached my purpose after the difficulties!

The best card I found so far (value: $15.49 on date 05/11/2022)

Now, I’m not sure if I should keep playing in every season, or if it’s more convenient to just continue to rent my owned cards for the other players.

Do you have any suggestion? How do you do it?

Thank you all for reading about my experience!
