Hosting a Splinterlands Tournament Just For Fun - Bonus Prizes for Participants!

Hey guys! I guess I'm hosting a Splinterlands tourney! :D

Haven't posted in a long time. Splinterlands really exploded this year so I thought why not host a random tournament from time to time. As we are approaching a New Year it felt like a good time to start with my first ever tournament.

I'll mostly host Bronze Level tournaments (like this one) so that new players have an even playing field versus hardcore veterans. I haven't figured out how to structure my tournaments yet so if someone has suggestions (prize distribution, entry fee, league level, card restrictions, etc), please leave a comment below.

Tournament Rules:

Rewards:

1st Place: 300 DEC
2nd Place: 200 DEC
3rd-4th Place: 100 DEC
5-64 Place: 50 DEC
65-100 Place 25 DEC


Bonus Prizes:

Every participant that enters this tournament has an equal chance to win one. It doesn't matter how well you place, you win or place last there is a chance to get the bonus reward.

3 Random participant will get: Level 1 Djinn Inferni (EPIC)
and
10 Random participant will get: Level 1 Pelacor Arbalest (RARE)

If you want it to be for new people I would make it so no legendries can be played. That will even it out for people with small collection power and who do not want to rent a deck just for a tournament.

That's exactly why there are no legendaries allowed in this tournament. :D
