Battle Experience Rebellion: Countering by Abilities
Good day everyone and the Splinterlands community. One of today's blogs is my review of A possible counter line up of Rebellion 2.0. Exciting New and Additional cards and Mechanics will change the spl Blockchain improving performance.
Here's the step before engaging in choosing the cards you want to use in winning the battle:
Review the Rule set given
- Well to be honest this is most likely you want to check first and it is also important to utilize the use of a Rule set as it will give you a specific card you want to use for a certain rule set.
Review the history of the battle opponent
- Review the history battle of the opponent as this will give you information of what possible use of the enemy cards. Especially if the rule set given is a good combo of the opponent's history you've reviewed.
Assume the cards mostly use the opponents
- Assuming or predicting the lineup used in the battle is common but it is also important because it will give you a higher chance of winning and countering the opponent by your card's ability.
Line up
- Line-up is a common practice that you want to combine with the rule set given. So the most useful lineup is helping a chance of winning the battle and arranging the cards is the best position you feel has a higher chance of winning.
Overall as long as you have a lineup in your mind that is good and very important in battle. And I didn't check the opponent history that much except if the history element is repetitive element use then I might curiously check it.
Now with the present of the Rebellion card here and the new mechanics change. A lot of players experience defeat because of rebellion cards and it also gives another lineup in your list to adapt to the changes and counter the abilities of rebellion cards

Analyzing battle
As you can see the opposing team uses 1 Rebellion which is the Mantharoth a legendary melee unit 11 mana cost. Mantharoth has 5 abilities in max level, the Shield, Armor strike, True Stike, Repair, and Blast which make it very versatile in tanking both range and melee attacks because of Shield and Repair Ability.
It can also be used as the main damage of your team because of True Stike and Blast abilities. The opponent uses it as a tank and main damage, although there's a Briar Patch which I want to avoid Melee attacks even if it has a rule set of Equal Opportunity I still want to avoid melee attacks because it can easily execute my team if used melee except if use it as a tank for this 55 mana cap. I think Iidre Fyre is useless because of Scattershot which randomly attacks anywhere. As the battle progressed, I was able to win the match because the opposing team didn't manage well in performing the team position. So making your position the best lineup for the rule set makes a higher chance of winning even if you do not have that much rebellion. Also, I use Djinn Infernii and Grum FlameBlade both of which have Giant Killer that deals Double damage to the opponent if it uses 10 and up mana units making the Mantharoth Easily executed.

Given that rebellion costs less in the Bronze or Silver League. They are probably employed extensively in the fight, much like in Brawl and Tournament. I rarely ever found a match in Diamond or Champion that lasted three to five matches, and in the majority of those, I lost.😅
Buckled Up
This is what I experienced in battle in the Diamond and Champion Modern League, I only have limited cards but they are useful in some rule sets and I will try my best to win with existing cards. So if you want a high chance of winning, I advise you to rent or buy useful or stronger cards for most rule sets.
