Battle Mage Secrets: Going the Distance Dominating in Speed
Good day everyone splinterlands community, zactian here. Today I'll blog about another weekly challenge, Battle Mage Secrets, and share my strategy.
What Account Use
I'll play my Scholar Account (IGN: BLTZR-WIZARD-728). I will reveal my primary technique in this rule-set max-level cards in a modern format.
Challenge Rule set
GOING THE DISTANCE is the challenge, in which only Range units will be usable in this battle.
Comment below with your opinions on the potential lineups at this level. Is it effective for this battle ruleset? Let's see and match up with the Going The Distance rule set.
GOING THE DISTANCE
INTO THE BATTLE:
Rule Set
- Neutral units may not be able to be used in this battle.
- Only units with ranged attacks may be used.
- All units will gain the Corrosive Ward.
Recommended summoner to use GOING THE DISTANCE for this match:
This is a bit sketchy because the opponent might use Fire, Water, or Death elements. If I pick Fire with Conqueror Jacek summoner for dominating in speed and lucky shots from its scattershot ability, Water for Tanky and a bit of Speed with Kelya frendul summoner, and Death element with Waka applying poisons or Astral Entity summoner for a chance to miss incoming attacks. Since I have limited cards used in this battle I preferably use the Fire element with Conqueror Jacek summoner which can dominate the opponent in speed and chance of lucky shots with scattershot ability. I assume the opponent will possibly use Countess Sinash fire element, Wave Brood water element, and Quees of Crow's death element.
Note: I only have limited cards but they are useful in some rule sets and I will try my best to win with existing cards. So if you want a high chance of winning, I advise you to rent or buy useful or stronger cards for most rule sets.
Conqueror Jacek
Increase speed by 2 with Scattershot and Piercing abilities
- This summoner is a greatly powerful and useful legendary summoner that may use the opportunity, stealth, or blast monsters to generate a variety of tactics. Additionally, this summoner has a high-speed unit count. It is frequently coupled with Supply Runner and Countess Sinash. This is what I would enter if I had to pick between damage and speed.
Link of the battle: RUMBLE
My Lineup
First position - Molten Ash Golem
- Acts as a tank in the first position because of its Close Range ability that can attack in the first position and has 10 health which is decent for a tank.
Second position - Flame Mephit
- It acts as an extra card to use in battle since I don't have any other 2 mana units other than this, this is good enough because it has a Flying ability with 2 speed plus 2 speed from summoner which gives a chance to miss incoming range attacks.
Third position - Ash Mirage
- Support unit with a bit of damage, the Headwinds is pretty useful if the opponent prioritizes of using range attacks debuffing their damage by 1.
Fourth position - Lava Spider
- Support unit with decent damage because it has a chance of applying poison it hits.
Fifth position - Scavo Firebolt
- My main range damage because it has 4 range damage.
Last position - Countess Sinash
- Extra damage main range damage and support because of Blasts ability in 4 range damage and Swiftness ability for additional speed of my team.
Analyzing Battle
The enemy uses the Water element with Kelya Summoner, it is pretty decent damage with armor. Wave Brod abilities opponent is not working battle because I have the scattershot ability from my summoner. It seems a quite basic lineup for Water Splinter with no legendary units or stronger cards deployed. On opponent position cards well well-displayed positioning difference in damage and health. I also dominate the opponent in speed and hopefully, my lucky shot is hit as expected.
Effective or not?
Got the upper hand on this match, with Ash Mirage and Countess Sinash combo, and dominating in speed and damage. Who knows if my luck with my Scattershot ability goes haywire on attacking only Wave Brod or opponent uses Waka and combo with Queen of Crows I might lose😅. I'd say lucky for this match found average gameplay with not much strong cards use.😁
My favorite line-up in the element is water where most units found are high in speed, If you want to use Water Line-up, please read over some of my blogs, hoping they could be useful. 😊
Thank You! for being here, coming this far, and supporting me. I hope this will help you in some of your battles.🤗
