SPLINTERLANDS - Low hanging fruit report - The END

(Edited)

It is an end to an era.

I will no longer be doing the Low Hanging Fruit Report for Splinterlands.

Please note that this is a Decline Payout post, votes are not going to do anyone a favor. lol

It has been brought to my attention that these posts seemed to be farming easy rewards from Hive. I apologize to the Hive Community members who felt that way. It was never my intention to threaten the integrity of earning on Hive or that of quality posts.

In general, this daily report usually tended to make between $0.40 and $2 in post rewards and of course, half of that went to curators. Working 6-9 hours a week, each day for a payout of between $0.4 and $1 for 7 separate posts does not seem to be farming for rewards to me, more like farming cabbages! (An idiom that means you expend lots of effort in order to gain low rewards.)

Furthermore, I would like to apologize to those people who were frequent readers and supporters of this series of posts. A special thanks to @joetunex and @mypathtofire for your involvement. @hotsauceislethal, I know you just started following this, but if you ever have questions about Splinterlands, don't hesitate to leave me a message!

I will have quite a bit more free time now. This will mean that I can dedicate more of my time to my actual writing, blogging, and onboarding of new Hive users!

I hope I lead as an example by halting this post series in a sense. You need to be able to listen to other people's points of view and if everyone cannot agree on the value of these posts, then best I leave this alone.

Cheers for now!

Bro you were putting in tons of work that isnt easy rewards at all.
Creating content and posting important data is kinda the whole point if Hive right?

Opinions are like buttholes, everyone has one and its usually shitty.

Dont listen to those fools, write what you want.

Write what makes you happy, all information is valuable to someone. ;)

Indeed it is!

Unfortunately there were complaints that I use a template, which is the only way to present market information in a practical sense.

I saw this post series as charity from me. The post payout on average is so low, it is silly to claim that I am "reward farming".

My average reward for the last 10 Splinterlands reposts to me vs the average post reward for my other content shows that on average, my other content is 770%+ more rewarding to do my other content.

So I see it less of a loss. The loss shall be experienced by the decentralized community.

It's all good. My next post is about food I made on last Friday! 😁
