Ability Analysis - Affliction [Fire,Water]

Hello, my fellow splinterlands lovers!

I hope you all are doing well in your life and also enjoying the Splinterlands game. A few days ago, I published my first Ability Analysis post on Martyr ability, and today, in this post I am going to discuss about Affliction ability. All those who playing the Splinterlands game know about this ability; it's an anti-heal ability. When a Monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a 50% chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it to be unable to be healed. A total of 24 cards have this ability; one is a summoner. So let's check out those cards and how good/bad they are on the battlefield.

MAGMA TROLL is a fire unit untamed edition common melee attack monster. MAGMA TROLL got (Affliction) ability from level 6. It also has (reach) ability from level 1. It's got a maximum of 4 (melee attack), 5 (health) & 4 (speed) on max level. MAGMA TROLL only costs 4 mana so it's suitable for low mana battles and it also has a high damage-to-mana ratio, so it's a cost-effective option for dealing damage in the Back to Basics ruleset.

FIRE ELEMENTAL is a fire element rare untamed edition ranged attack monster. It's got a maximum of 3 ranged attack, 3 health & 6 speed on max level. FIRE ELEMENTAL got a total of 3 abilities blast ability from level 1, affliction ability from level 5 & redemption ability on level 8/max level. It costs 5 mana, so it's not suitable for little league ruleset battle, but it also has low health so it will be the perfect choice for equalizer ruleset battle.

LORD OF FIRE is a Legendary fire unit Promo (Essence Orb) edition ranged attack monster. It has a total of 4 abilities, on every level up a new ability adds on. It has (strengthen) ability on level 1, (silence) ability on level 2, (affliction) ability on level 3 and (shatter) ability on level 4. It's got a maximum of 1 (ranged attack), 4 (health) & 2 (speed) on max level.So, it has the same amount of attack, health & speed on level 1 & 4. The only difference between those levels is abilities.

COUNTESS SINASH is a fire element legendary chaos legion reward edition ranged attack monster. It's got a maximum of 4 ranged attack, 4 health & 4 speed on max level. COUNTESS SINASH got a total of 5 abilities. It has opportunity ability & camouflage ability from level 1, swiftness ability from level 2, affliction ability from level 3 and blast ability on level 4/max. It's a high damage/speed, so it will be good against low-health enemy monsters and it costs 8 mana so it's not suitable for little league ruleset battle.

COASTAL NYMPH is a common water unit riftwatcher edition ranged attack monster. COASTAL NYMPH got (Affliction) ability from level 6. It's got a maximum of 5 (ranged attack), 8 (health), 4 (speed) & 4 (armor) on max level. It also has (scattershot) ability from level 1. It cost 9 mana so it's suitable for high mana battles.

RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN is a rare water unit Soulbound Reward edition magic attack monster.It's got a maximum of 3 (magic attack), 6(health) & 2 (speed) on max level. RIVERBOAT CAPTAIN got a total of 3 abilities, (blast) ability from level 1, (affliction) ability from level 4 & (fury) ability on level 8. It cost 6 mana so it's not eligible for (little league) ruleset, but it also a low-speed monster so it will be a better choice for (reverse speed) ruleset battle.

CAPTAIN'S GHOST is a rare water unit Untamed edition magic attack monster. CAPTAIN'S GHOST got (Affliction) ability from level 1 and (oppress) ability from level 5.It's got a maximum of 4 (magic attack), 8 (health) & 2 (speed) on max level. Captain's Ghost cost 7 mana so it's not eligible for (little league) ruleset, but it also a low-speed monster so it will be a better choice for (reverse speed) ruleset battle.

Hello, I like fire monsters with "affliction",
so I can stop a "taunt" that is healed by a "triage" or stop
the healing of a tank.👍👍👍
