The Neoxian City Guild Brawl Hall

I hope you all are doing well in your life and also enjoying the Splinterlands game. First of all, I want to congratulate all of our guild players, who have been part of our recent brawl fight. Once again we crushed all other guilds and came in first. We had some tough guilds as our opponents this time including Legendary Dragon, Samurai Soul, T&A Legion I, And several other strong Guilds. But all of our members did exceptionally well this time and snatched out the top place with their performance together.

The Guild of Neoxian got a total of 408 points, Legendary Dragons got a total of 378 points, and Samurai Soul got 360 points, so there was quite a competition between the 2nd and 3rd position guilds. The Guild of Neoxian won 136 battles and lost 43 battles, which was really good against those strong guilds. As a reward, our guild got 216 Crowns and each guild member that fully participated in the guild brawl got 12343 Merits & 189.038 SPS Reward.

My Personal Brawl Performance

Now comes to my personal contribution on this brawl cycle, As you can see out of 7 battles I won against 6 enemy guild players and unfortunately lost against 1 enemy guild player. And that one loss was against Hametaro from the Samurai Soul guild member. As I said earlier there are many strong players in that guild if you notice on the tournaments & leaderboard top ranking list you will find samurai soul guild players on there. Now before I start sharing my top 3 battles, I was assigned to Tier 4, 20th Fray (Which is the Modern Gold League Gold foil fray).

My first Brawl Battle opponent was bockwurstmitsenf from Legendary Unicorns guild. We were the host, that's why there was we had more advantages over the enemy guild. We got +1 mana extra to use on the battleground, that's why I was able to use a total of 43 mana line up on the 42 mana game. We also banished the two most used summoners (SCARRED LLAMA MAGE & BYZANTINE KITTY), So that the enemy team can't use those on the battleground. Now comes to the battle, I set my lineup according to the ruleset, Because of Target Practice I used ALMO CAMBIO on the targeted position where all snipe attack monster will usually attack & My summoner have triage ability which will heal back monsters and ALMO CAMBIO also have Immunity + Phase + Return fire ability, so it will have chance to miss magic attacks and making it helpful for survivability in Noxious Fumes. I also used Truthspeaker & Adelade Brightwing. Truthspeaker benefits from Adelade Brightwing's Repair ability since its Protect ability gives two armor to all monsters & Adelade Brightwing has Immunity ability, which is making it helpful for survivability in Noxious Fumes. Truthspeaker has one more ability suitable for Noxious Fumes (Cleanse), which is removed the poison effect from My Tank ( URIEL THE PURIFIER ) and making it a great card for this ruleset. It was an interesting match and fun to watch.

This time my opponent lostintime was in advantage over us, because this time they were the arena host. It was a 21 Low mana game, that's why I goes with the full defensive lineup as there was no healing ability in this battle. That's why I used MYLOR CROWLING as my summoner, which provides Thorns ability to all my cards. Then I used FAILED SUMMONER as my tank which only costs 2 mana to summon, making it a good choice for low mana games. My opponent used LORNA SHINE Summoner which save the friendly monster from first attack & CAPTAIN KATIE (gladius card) which is amazing OP Magic Sniper. So in the beginning, I was very worried because opponent line up was really great. But, he used two Melee attack monsters, which was the weak link on his lineup and beneficial for me. The battle was really great to watch, I hope you will enjoy it.

Now Let's see why I lost against hametaro. The Battle was 48(47+1) mana battle game, which was a pretty big mana game. First comes to my lineup, I chose KELYA FRENDUL water chaos summoner, which gives +1 speed & +1 armor buff. Then I used 6 mana No attack Baakjira water tank, Flying Squad at 2nd position for Reach ability and that was my big mistake. I should have used a monster that has Reflection shield ability, as there was Explosive Weaponry ruleset on the battle. That's where my opponent was one step ahead of me, he used Taunt Ability monster as tank and used Reflection shield & Reach ability monster in 2nd position. He also used SOLA RANJELL Legendary Gladius card, which is pretty hard to get. After all I can say It was my bad luck and also some bad decision that cost me this lost. Though I will take lessons from it & will do better in future.
