Hello, I'm back for the Splinterlands Art Contest event, I haven't posted my art for a while, I was a little discouraged, but today I'm back in action, bringing an art from Lava Spider a common card from the Chaos Legion collection, this time I used colored pencils to the drawing, i recently bought a set with many colors and i will definitely make more drawings using them. Hope you like it.

Drawing Process

I started with the sketch of the drawing, I wasted a lot of time here because these arts from the new collection have a lot of details and are very well elaborated, the parts with lava were the most work, I already made several spider webs, but with lava was the first, I thought very creative the idea web with lava 😁

After the sketch was ready, I just started painting the spider's body and its legs I really liked the combination of colors, painting with pencil is much more relaxing than with watercolor, even if I made mistakes in some parts it was easy to fix and much more accurate to make the details, I don't think I would try to do this art with watercolor 😂

After painting the entire spider, it was time for the lava web, a very creative idea I don't think I've seen anything like this in the games.

With almost everything painted, I just made the remaining details with a pen and finished the name at the top, I also took the opportunity to correct what was wrong.

I was missing posting my drawings, I was gone for almost 1 month 😁, this time the drawing was done with colored pencils instead of watercolor, I really liked the result and it was really cool to paint with them, I'm already full of ideas for my next one And I can't wait to post it here too.
