Zallin - SHARE YOUR BATTLE - CARNAGE TITAN
I didn't have internet these last few days and I couldn't post anything, I was almost getting to the current events π, for today's Sharing Your Battle we have the Carnage Titan, he is an extremely violent dude π€£, for this event you just had to choose any dragon card to participate.
π CARNAGE TITAN π
Carnage Titan is a legendary card from the Chaos Legion collection, it uses melee attacks, costs 11 mana, and its attributes are well balanced except its armor which is one level above, it already starts with the skills Reach and Double Strike from lvl 3 gains the skill Shield, thanks to his initial skills and his armor this titan becomes one of the most powerful Off-tank in the game.
I usually use this monster in the rules Explosive Weaponry, Up Close Personal, Weak Magic, and Holy Protection, thanks to its Reach skill it can do well in almost all rules because it can attack safely from the second position.
Legendary cards are not cheap and this Titan is no different, its regular foil version costs 7.70$ and its gold foil version costs 57.90$, it is one of the most expensive legendary cards from the Chaos Legions set, a good option for those who want to test this card, is to rent it on the market, today costing something around 1DEC/Day.
βοΈ My Team βοΈ
Rule | Effect |
---|---|
Heavy Hitters - All Monsters have the Knock Out ability. | |
Melee Mayhem - Melee attack Monsters can attack from any position. |
A match with 36 mana and the rules Heavy Hitters and Melee Mayhem, just seeing the rule Melee Mayhem already thought the white hippopotamus, then I chose the only dragon summoner I had, I was in doubt about tank but preferred to leave the angel because it is the most resistant I have and wanted him to hold as much as possible the front line to give my DPS time to destroy their defenses, for off-tank I had no doubts and chose the star of the match, the Carnage Titan, missing 3 mana I tried to put the highest amount of DPS I had, so I chose Vulguine, Gargoya Scrapper and Soul Fiend.
Card | LineUP |
---|---|
Summoner : Excellent summoner of the Dragon element, his debuffs almost always work. | |
Tank : An extremely resistant tank, it can heal itself, and still has the fly ability to help with dodging. | |
Off-Tank: The star of the match, I consider him the best Off-tank/DPS at the moment, he can easily deal 6 damage in a turn and can still hold the front line if necessary. | |
DPS: One of the best cards to play with the Melee Mayhem rule, it has extremely high damage and never misses its attacks, besides gaining a lot of value every time it defeats a card. | |
DPS: Low cost and deals 2 damage, as well as gaining some extra HP over the course of the game. | |
DPS: Cheap unit placed to complete the team, will do some damage. | |
DPS: one more card to complete the line-up, this type of card almost always appears when you don't have mana and you have free space on your team. |
π€The Battle π€
Analyzing the match: My opponent came with the with Kelya his armor bonus will be extremely effective against my team full physical damage, my summoner's ranged attack debuff will have no effect, and my opponent divided his damage which can be very good for my composition, because he will waste time eliminating my weak cards while I concentrate my firepower on one target.
Round 1 - Round with many hits, the first card to be knocked out was my Soul Fiend, and luckily I didn't lose another card because my Gargoya dodged very well at the end.
Round 2 - At the beginning of the round, the star of the match defeats the opponent tank, but he revived soon after, in the middle of the round Vulguine takes out of the game DiemonShark this time he didn't revive π, and almost at the end my Gargoya was eliminated.
Round 3 - The round starts with the star of the game eliminating one more card, my hippopotamus finally knocks out a card and gets even more powerful, I think I have a good advantage now.
Round 4 - The star of the match eliminates Deepluker, this titan is a killing machine, and now the victory is very close.
Round 5 - The hippopotamus defeats the penultimate card of my adversary and soon after, in 2 hits, the Carnage Titan takes the last card from the game, granting me the victory.
π Conclusion π
My strategy worked perfectly, my tank held the front line until the end, Soul Fiend, Gargoya Scrapper, and Vulguine were the targets of the attacks of opportunity and did not resist much, with freedom and time my two main DPS annihilated one by one the cards that went to my opponent's front line, certainly, the MVP of the match was the Carnage Titan.
Carnage Titan is an excellent card even at lvl 1, making success in any league, this double attack with reach is a powerful combo, which can annihilate the enemy team quickly, this combo can be even better if you have cards with Inspire or some summoner that increases the melee damage, its only disadvantage is its high mana cost.
