🌟 LEGIONNAIRE ALVAR 🌟

Legionnaire Alvar is a neutral legendary card released in the Chaos Legions collection, uses melee attacks to protect himself, its armor is the highlight among his attributes, already starts with the ability Void Armor, at lvl 2 gets Giant Killer, lvl 3 Demoralizer and at lvl 4 DeathBlow, usually used as a tank because of its physical attributes and because its has no ability to attack from another position.

Best Rules - Armored Up, Equalizer, Equal Opportunity, Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak.

Worst Rules - Unprotected, Noxious Fumes and Briar Patch.

Legionnaire Alvar is popular because it is a neutral card, but for some reason it is not very expensive compared to the legendaries in this collection, it is practically in the middle of the table with its regular foil version costing $4.88 and its gold foil version costing $36.00.

	Fog of War - Monsters lose the Sneak and Snipe abilities.

A match with 58 mana and the recently updated Fog of War rule, as there would not be much room for melee attackers I focused on protecting and attacking with magic damage, then the summoner Obsidian would be the best choice here, to defend myself I chose the star of the match the tough Legionnaire Alvar because it has the ability Void Armor, plenty armor and can even reduce the melee damage of the opponent tank, For off-tank I chose Branmble Pixie, a new card that I am liking a lot, with this line-up even the supports become good DPS, so I chose Goblin to heal and cut the healing of the enemy units, the amazing Queem Mycelia extra armor is always good, Spirit Druid Grog will be great if it resurrects Alvar, because it would come back with 9 armor, and finally Djinn Biljka that hits hard and reduces the opponent's HP.

My strategy is to help Alvar withstand all the momentum of the opposing team, so I put 3 supports that will give armor, healing, and even revive him once, while these supports themselves are beating the opposing team hard.

	DPS/Suport: A card that I rarely see played but is great, especially in combination with Legionnaire Alvar because it can revive him with a lot of armor.
	DPS: One of the best DPS at this cost, only 3 mana and can cause 2 magic damage, not counting the obisidian bonus and his debuff that reduces the opposing team's HP.

🤜The Battle 🤛

Analyzing the match: The opponent came with a very resistant tank and will split my attacks, because he is using a card with taunt at the end, but he has no card with sniper so all his attacks will focus on my tank that will still revive once with plenty of armor.

Round 1 - At the very beginning Arkemis reduces my tank's damage to a measly 1, now it will only be a wall 😅, after that nothing much different happened and all cards are still alive in the game.

Round 2 - In the first hits of the round the star of the match is knocked out, but is revived soon after, almost halfway through it was the opponent's taunt's turn to fall by Biljka's mortal damage.

Round 3 - In the first attack of the round the fairy takes out the opponent tank, soon after the Druid knocks out the Magi Of Chaos, before the star of the match is killed by the opponent Queen Mycelia it sees the Spirt Hoarder being eliminated by my Queen 😂 and in the last move of the round the Goblin defeats the opponent Queen, after a hectic round I am with a good advantage.

Round 4 - Finally, victory has come, the opposing Goblin could do nothing against all my magic units, the game ends with Djinn Biljka's hit.

🎊 Conclusion 🎊

My strategy worked satisfactorily, the healing cut effect prevented my tank from receiving support from the globin healer, I have to start using units with the Cleanse ability that even received an upgrade in the last patch 😁, The invoker buffed 4 cards with this were at least +4 damage per round, my tank was literally a wall was without damage but withstood more than 25 damage, the fairy was not bothered and hit hard every round, the Goblin healing could not work on the tank but hit heavily the opposing team, the Queen Mycelia made an interesting game, but was not so useful because only the tank received damage, the Druid revived the Alvar with incredible 9 armor, and the Djinn Biljka was quiet distributing damage in all rounds.

Legionnaire Alvar is an amazing card, present in most of my matches in modern format, it's ability Void Armor combined with the large amount of armor make it extremely resistant to magic damage, this combo is great when it is resurrected as you saw in the match, because it comes back with the armor fully regenerated, This is literally a wall that can be present in any game, besides this ability it still has Gian Killer to massacre heavy creatures and Demoralizer to reduce opponent's damage, these last two abilities make it excellent choice on Equal Opportunity, Melee Mayhem and Super Sneak rules.
