Having a Guild here in SPLINTERLANDS is very important to help you out to boost your skills and confidence in playing this game.

One of the incentives of having a Guild is that you can participate in your Guild Brawl battle weekly plus a chance to earn some merits that you can use to purchase a Gladius Case Pack.

Once you purchased a Gladius Case pack, you have a chance now to get some cool and exciting cards that will help your team to win in the brawl battle. You can only select one gladius card per battle and you should make the most out of it.

For now, I will share with you my FIRE team Gladius cards collection.

CHIMNEY WALLSTOP

L O R E

They say that smoking is bad for your health, but so is facing off against Chimney Wallstop in single Gladiator arena combat. When he is not fighting, he is rarely seen without a smoking pipe in his hand and a smile on his face. Before embarking on his Moxian journey to become a professional Gladiator, Wallstop lived alone in one of the slums of Azad, the largest city in the Burning Lands. He scraped a living as a trapper, collecting, crafting and selling wares from the creatures he obtained in the open Ashlands, especially the radiated land near Mitreyya’s Hand. This treacherous rocky land has been Chimney’s home since he was a boy, when he migrated to the Burning Lands from Anumün by stowing away on a goblin ship. This alone was an incredible accomplishment because goblins are especially vigilant (and severe in punishment) for stowaways. Wallstop has never looked back from his decision to leave his green and lush homeland for the desolate waste of the Burning Lands. He is far more comfortable fighting to survive. As he says: “The world is always trying to kill you. Why let it be sneaky about the effort?”

REACTION:
This is a powerful second position monster that you can use in Guild Brawl for the fire team, with his reach and bloodlust ability at level 1, this is one of my most used brawl cards on the battlefield.

KRASH WANDERFORD

L O R E

Krash Wanderford may have the outward appearance of a human, but anyone who knows him can see that he is a canine at heart. He grew up on the open fields of the Burning Lands among the cult of Pyromaniacs. Even these fanatics, who are known for their savagery, were unable to control Wanderford as a youth, who preferred to spend his time running with the Cerberus of the Ashlands. Although the mutated dogs never let humans anywhere near them, they welcomed the peculiar Krash into their midst and he spent many years growing with them and learning from them.

REACTION:
A very defensive minded gladius card for the fire team that has great abilities at a max level such as swiftness, bloodlust, thorns, return fire, and dodge.

ORELLA ABADON

L O R E

From the Smoldering Forest settlement in the Burning Lands known as Balfair, Orella Abadon is the oldest Gladiator who has chosen to join the professional camp. She is Efreet, but the only non-human trait she possesses is her long, pointed ears. The striped sickle tattoos that adorn her face and arms each represent a battle won in her lifetime. Each stripe represents a single kill within that battle. Orella is incredibly handy with spears of all sizes, having learned many tricks from all sorts of people in her long and storied travels. There is much the younger Gladiators could learn from this gray-haired warrior, but instead the others tend to view her as an outsider, too old to put on a good show in the arena. Orella will prove them wrong, and she knows that she has many remaining years of strength in which to do so.

REACTION:
A rare gladius card monster for the fire team that can be used for only 2 mana cost. It also provides sneak, bloodlust, and true strike abilities when maxed out.

SARIUS

L O R E

The Burning Lands city of Azad is home to uncountable thousands of the toughest people in the world from dozens of different races. There are warriors, thieves, refugees and survivors from all over the Planet. Even in spite of the terrible overpopulation problems and resource crises of the Burning Lands, the city accepts almost everyone whose ship makes it to the port of Noxia. Brutality of Azad life usually takes care of the population problem within the city walls anyways. Whoever is not fit to survive in Azad simply dies and is forgotten. The largest and most intact race of people who have made a home in Azad are the Khmer.

REACTION:
Another rare gladius card for the fire team that has 4 range damage, 4 speed and 6 health at max level for only 3 mana cost. Also, it provides bloodlust and poison abilities as early as level 5.
