My appreciation of Efreet Elder (Share Your Battle!)

I know this week's theme of "share your battle" features the majestic creature: Giant Roc. However, I would like to show my appreciation to my life-saver, Efreet Elder, in a miraculous comeback from what seems to be a losing battle.

In a Bronze matchup, the ruleset was "Silenced Summoners", which means summoners have no impact on the battle. Hence, I went with the cheapest Fire summoner: Pyre, to save mana costs for monsters instead.

Since Earth units cannot be used in this battle, I assumed that the opponent would not put Magic units (since the new Earth Summoner is famous for magic builds now), which was why I chose Living Lava as my frontline to reduce melee and range attacks. I guess great minds think alike as my opponent chose the same tank as well. Now, it was down to the backline. I chose Ooze hoping that its "Slow" would enable my Serpentine Spy to strike first and take down one of their units. However, he countered it by placing a Fire Elemental, which immediately took out my Spy via "Blast", and then took down my Ooze with his own Spy. Now my team was left with 2 units even before round one ended.

As the battle went on, my Living Lava fell as well, leaving my Efreet Elder as the sole survivor. This was the moment when the tides turned in my favor. Efreet's ability: "Last Stand", which grants 50% to all-stat when he is alone, making him a super monster with 10 health, 2 magic attack, and 5 speed!

Fun fact: with this stat, he is literally on par with the legendary card: Djinn Oshannus (level 1)!

Therefore, I would like to highlight the value of Efreet Elder's life-saving utility in certain battles and rulesets. In comparison, only a few units have the "Last Stand" skill (see image below).

For beginners with a limited budget like me, especially in the Bronze league, the cheapest to buy/rent units with this skill is probably Efreet. Other units like Kron the Undying and Hero of Beyond are much more expensive to buy/rent. Also, they need to be level 3 to have this skill, which means they need a higher summoner level as well; which makes it more expensive. Meanwhile, Efreet only needs to be level 1. Hence, in my opinion, Efreet Elder is really underrated in terms of cost-efficiency and life-saving situations.
