Share you Battle - Nerissa Tridawn (DE / ENG)
Einleitung
Im dieswöchigen Share your Battle steht Nerissa Tridawn im Mittelpunkt. Sie ist wenigstens so gefährlich wie sie gut aussieht. Heute schauen wir uns gemeinsam diese Karte an und kucken wie sie sich im Battle macht. Wie auch im letzten Post bereits angekündigt widme ich den Schluss meiner Artikel den Splinterlands Neulingen und gebe ihnen, hoffentlich, hilfreiche Tips mit auf den Weg. Introduction
In this week's Share your Battle, Nerissa Tridawn takes center stage. She's at least as dangerous as she is good looking. Today we're going to take a look at this card together and see how she does in the battle. As already announced in the last post, I dedicate the end of my articles to Splinterlands newcomers and give them, hopefully, helpful tips along the way. Die Stat Card
Nerissa Tridawn ist eine Karte des Elementes Wasser und epischer Rarität aus dem Chaos Legion Set. Mit 9 Mana ist sie ziemlich teuer, man bekommt für sein Mana jedoch eine ganze Menge geboten. Sie hat zwar nur eine Schnelligkeit von 2, glänzt aber mit seinen 9 Lebenspunkten und vor allem den 3 Magieschaden den sie verursacht. Ein richtiger Schadensausteiler. Was gleich auffällt wenn man einen Blick auf die Statcard wirft ist, dass sie keinerlei Fähigkeiten besitzt, auch nicht in den höheren Leveln. Ansonsten levelt sie relativ standardmäßig hoch: Leben, Schnelligkeit und dann Schaden. Auf Level 6 entfaltet sie dann ihr gesamtes Potential, denn die 11 Lebenspunkte bieten eine enorme Überlebensfähigkeit und die 5 Magieschaden bieten zugleich einen enorm hohen Damage-Output, was sie wiederum sehr flexibel einsetzbar macht. Die hohen Kosten jedoch setzen voraus, dass der Manapool stimmt.
The Stat Card
Nerissa Tridawn is a card of the element water and epic rarity from the Chaos Legion set. At 9 mana, she is quite expensive, but you get quite a bit for its mana. It only has a speed of 2, but it shines with 9 health and especially the 3 magic damage. A real damage dealer. What is immediately noticeable when you take a look at the statcard is that she doesn't have any abilities, not even in the higher levels. Otherwise she levels up relatively standard: life, speed and then damage. At level 6 she unfolds her full potential, because the 11 health points offer an enormous survivability and the 5 magic damage at the same time offer an enormously high damage output, which in turn makes her very flexible to use. The high cost, however, require a relatively high mana pool.
Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Nerissa Tridawn kann man eigentlich getrost in jedem Spiel einsetzen in dem Magieschaden nicht penalisiert wird. Magic Reflect ist ein wahrer Killer und Forbidden Magic lässt sie erst nicht aufs Feld. Ansonsten kann sie gespielt werden, wenn Blau zu Auswahl seht. Nachteil wie oben bereits angedeutet sind die hohen Manakosten der Karte. Dies schränkt den Einsatz der Karte wiederum zusätzlich ein, da bei kleineren Manapools Nerissa Tridawn schlichtweg nicht einsetzbar ist.
Possible uses
Nerissa Tridawn can be safely used in any game where magic damage is not penalized. Magic Reflect is a real killer and Forbidden Magic doesn't let her on the field at all. Otherwise it can be played when blue is available. Disadvantage as already mentioned above is the high mana cost of the card. This limits the use of the card even more, because Nerissa Tridawn is simply not usable in smaller mana pools.
Das heutige Spiel - Ruleset und Manacap
52 Mana! Jawohl! Genug um Nerissa Tridawn spielen zu können. Perfekt. Doch dann die Ernüchterung. Das Reflect Magic Ruleset... Eigentlich sollte man Nerissa dann nicht spielen. Ich habe mich dann trotzdem entgegen jeglicher menschlicher Vernunft dazu entschieden Nerissa einzusetzen.

52 Mana! Yes! Enough to play Nerissa Tridawn. Perfect. But then the disillusionment. The Reflect Magic Ruleset... Actually one should not play Nerissa then. I decided to use Nerissa anyway, against all human reason.
Die Ausstellung
Ich bin davon ausgegangen, dass mein Gegner nicht auf Magie geht und mich deshalb für Kelya Frendul entschieden. Wegen dem Ruleset wird er wohl eher auf Nahkampf und Fernkampf setzen, da profitiere ich vom zusätzlichen Schild. Die +1 Schnelligkeit nehme ich gerne mit.
Anschließen habe ich meine großen Jungs aufs Feld geschickt. Allesamt Nahkämpfer mit hohem Schadens-Output und der Demented Shark um den Schaden noch weiter zu erhöhen. Ich wollt mir mit schnellen Kills einen Vorteil verschaffen. Axemaster ist eine meiner Lieblingskarten. Ich besitzt zwar nur auf Level 1, richtet mit seinen 2 Attacken jedoch guten Schaden an ist super um Divine Shield oder Schilde vom Gegner zu nehmen und zugleich etwas Schaden anzurichten.
Doch nun, wieso Nerissa? Meine Überlegung war es, hohen Schaden anzurichten und schnell zu sein. Sollte er ebenfalls Kelya Frendul spielen, muss ich durch das Schild und 3 Schaden sind nicht zu verachten. Mit ihren 10 Leben (ich spiele sie auf Level 3) müsste sie ein paar Schläge einstecken können. Bei 3 Attacken wären es immerhin 9 Schaden. Damit kann man was wegklatschen. Soweit die Überlegung.
The Lineup
I assumed that my opponent won't go for magic and therefore decided for Kelya Frendul. Because of the ruleset, he's more likely to go for melee and ranged, which is where I benefit from the extra shield. I take the +1 speed with pleasure.
After that I sent my big boys onto the field. All melee fighters with high damage output and the Demented Shark to increase the damage even more. I wanted to get an advantage with quick kills. Axemaster is one of my favorite cards. I only own it on level 1, but it does good damage with its 2 attacks and is great for taking Divine Shield or shields from the opponent and doing some damage at the same time.
But now, why Nerissa? My thought was to do high damage and be fast. Should he also play Kelya Frendul, I have to go through the shield and 3 damage is nothing to sneeze at. With her 10 life (I play her at level 3) she should be able to take a few hits. With 3 attacks it would be 9 damage after all. With that you can slap something away. So far the consideration.

Im allgemeinen ist die Strategie aufgegangen. Kleiner Panikmoment hatte ich wegen seiner Wave Brood. Die ist aber schnell genug gefallen um anschließen die Monster einem nach dem andern aus dem Spiel zu nehmen. Nerissa Tridawn hat wie geplant ordentlich ausgeteilt und lange genug überlebt. Netter Nebeneffekt den ich nicht einkalkuliert habe, war, dass Nerissa seinen Deeplurker umgeleitet hat und so meine anderen Monster ein Stück weit beschützt hat. Gute Arbeit.
Dadruch, dass meine Monster höher gelevelt waren, konnte sie das Spiel dominieren und mehr Schaden anrichten, wie zum Beispiel der Deeplurker mit Gift.

In general, the strategy worked out. I had a small moment of panic because of his Wave Brood. But it fell fast enough to take the other monsters out of the game one by one. Nerissa Tridawn dealt damage as planned and survived long enough. Nice side effect I didn't count on was that Nerissa redirected his Deeplurker, protecting my other monsters a bit. Good job.
Because my monsters were higher leveled, they were able to dominate the game and do more damage, such as the Deeplurker with poison.

Ich konnte Recht behalten, dieses mal, und einen Sieg einfahren. Ich bin zufrieden.

Mein Tip für Splinterlandsneulinge
Falls du dir die Frage stellst ob du dir die Karte besorgen sollst, dann kann ich mit einem klaren "Ja" antworten. Vor allem in Bronze und Silber Ligen dominiert sie das Feld. Ich hatte sie fast ständig in meinen blauen Rotationen wenn es der Manapool erlaubt hat. Auf Level 1 reicht sie zu Beginn allemal. Wenn du aber später in der Liga aufsteigst, denke ich, dass du an einem Aufleveln nicht vorbei kommst. Aber mal ehrlich, viel Schaden, viele Leben ... was willst du mehr. Wenn du sie noch mit einem Summoner wie Alric Stormbringer kombinieren kannst, dann brauchst du dich fast nur noch zurückzulehnen 😉. Wenn du mir nicht glaubst, dann miete sie dir och für ein paar Tage. Kostet Stand heute 0.5 Dec pro Tag. Also nicht die Welt.
My tip for Splinterlands newcomers
If you ask yourself the question if you should get the map, then I can answer with a clear "yes". Especially in Bronze and Silver leagues it dominates the field. I had it almost constantly in my blue rotations when the mana pool allowed it. At level 1 it is always enough at the beginning. But when you move up in the league later, I think you can't avoid leveling up. But honestly, a lot of damage, a lot of lives ... what more do you want. If you can still combine it with a Summoner like Alric Stormbringer, then you almost just have to sit back 😉 . If you don't believe me, rent her och for a few days. Costs as of today 0.5 Dec per day. So not the world.
