“Hard times create strong men. Strong men create good times. Good times create weak men. And, weak men create hard times.” ― G. Michael Hopf, Those Who Remain

Thanks to trashyomen comment in yesterday's post I thought I should write a little about my motivation for this challenge.

So why would I make it so hard on myself? Because I want to struggle, it makes life a lot more fun if you don't go the easy route. Achieving a tough challenge means so much more, than completing a trivial goal. In addition, if you have a hard goal you can't continuously slack off, so it keeps me at least a lot more focussed on the task. More focus in addition to the penalty should keep my laziness in check. The only thing I might have to watch out for is the potential burnout if I do too much, but I have an eye out for that.

Yesterday's response to my day 11 article caught me by surprise. I would rather have expected my Weekly Battle Report to pick up steam. Not my sleepy and sloppy daily post, that I didn't even proofread anymore. Probably only happened due to trashyomen curation call, but still, I really appreciate all the upvotes, the post payout should bring me nearly halfway to bronze 1 and ramp up my speed.

Quest:

Snipe Quest. 3rd time in a row. I have to get rid of the bad habit to force quests, once I reach bronze 2 next season. By then I would hemorrhage way too much DEC by losing needlessly.

Not a lot, but squirreling away, credits little by little.

Trading:

Trading income still is continuing to grow. The only problem I currently have is the low peakmonsters account tier. Having the ability to only use 2x my DEC balance for bids is hampering my card acquisition speed. Hopefully, that's going to sort itself out soon.

Blog Day4 Income:

Day 4 dropped a little the day before, but still a decent outcome. Decided to skip sub 1 DEC conversion, which might skew the daily records, but the impact should be low.
