I am your mood booster @zionazrael and today I am going to share my newest art creation that also gives me a lot of problems along the way and make my drawing hand aches😅, I am still happy with the result tough, I hope you like this One. For this week Splinterlands Fan art Contest I Decided to create a fan art of Igor Darkspear

Card Lore and Picture

Lore

Igor Darkspear is the leader of an aggressive tribe known as the Trench Dwellers who patrol the depths of the ocean around the island of Praetoria. The Trench Dwellers are highly territorial and will not hesitate to kill any who trespass in their waters.

As settlers and explorers came to Praetoria, Igor grew more and more angry. His waters were being invaded by ships, fishermen, and outsiders. Igor cared not for why these people had arrived and had no sympathy for their plight. Using his powers over water, he led his tribe in coordinated attacks around the coasts. And still more outsiders came.

During one attack, Igor was approached by a strange, bird-masked man who called himself Doctor Blight. The Doctor talked of wiping the land clean and promised complete death and devastation to all who stood in the Chaos Legion's path.

Igor liked this. He aligned his tribe with the Chaos Legion to help cleanse his waters of all who would trespass. He yearns for the day when the ocean is stained red with blood.

My Art Process

Sketch & Outline

I Started by making a rough sketch and out some details on it based on what is said on the Lore and on the picture. Then I began Outlining and made a better lining and drawings.

Coloring Process Explanation

In this coloring process I made a little improvement in my presentation on how I am doing my coloring process. I Crop the pictures on the areas I am working in order to properly show to you on where I am going to put the colors and details. I also provided the full view of my art and the end of each detailed steps.

You can also Zoom In/Out if you want to view the every strokes I made in my coloring, As I have mentioned before in my previous art. I am only using One tool(Pencil).

Shadowing	Highlights
Black color with 15% Opacity	White color with 15% Opacity

The Colors you will see on the pictures are the outcome of series or layers of manual strokes that I made. I don't know what is the name of that kind of technique though😅 Please comment below if you know the proper way to call it.

The following pictures shows my coloring process, First is Selecting the base color, Then followed by putting shadows and last is the highlights.

Body

Just like my procedure on the face and hair, I always stared by adding shadows then end with the highlights. DARK to LIGHT

Result in High Resolution

This is a full view of my art after the detailing on the body, I made a higher resolution compared to my previous artworks, Just in case someone might want to see the details I put by Zooming In/Out.

This pictures shows my coloring process on the fin. you can also notice that there is a picture of the real Igor Darkspear from Splinterlands because I am using it as to match to color I am applying.

On this next step I decided to put the full view of my art since it is almost done.

• First I put the base color of the Spear.
  
• Then I added the Shadows.
  
• Then for the last part is Adding highlights.
  

Background and Finishing

I made a simple background that looks like a part of the deep see or the Trench which is also base on what the Lore said about Igor Darkspear,
