The true power of gladius cards - Epic Battles (Eng/Esp)

Today I want to share with you some of my best #Brawl battles from this week.

It's a pleasure to be sharing a new post for all those active #Splinterlands players.

In this post you will see some formations that I like to do whenever I play with gladius cards, they are very good combinations that you can't miss, make yourselves comfortable that here starts all this.

Hoy quiero compartir con vosotros algunas de mis mejores batallas #Brawl de esta semana.

Es un placer estar compartiendo un nuevo post para todos aquellos jugadores activos de #Splinterlands.

En este post veréis algunas formaciones que me gusta hacer siempre que juego con cartas de gladius, son muy buenas combinaciones que no os podéis perder, poneos cómodos que aquí empieza todo esto.

There were only a few hours left before the end of the battle round.

But I arrived in time to place some of them.

In my case I had 6 battles available, of which I won a total of 4 and two of them I lost, but today I come to show you each of them in this post, showing briefly why I won or lost some of them.

Quedaban pocas horas para el final de la ronda de batallas.

Pero llegué a tiempo para colocar algunas de ellas.

En mi caso tenía 6 batallas disponibles, de las cuales gané un total de 4 y dos de ellas las perdí, pero hoy vengo a mostraros cada una de ellas en este post, mostrando brevemente por qué gané o perdí algunas de ellas.

In my first battle, my opponent used the same summoner as me, this summoner that subtracts -1 magic damage and -1 life from the opponent's cards.

In this battle the available elements were only dragon, life and death.

Among the rules of the battle we can see that if we make use of cards with ranged attack they will be affected, since they will receive damage when attacking.

So I thought that my opponent would only use cards with magic attack, so with my summoner I would be reducing that magic, although I also had cards with ranged attack, but it was for a good cause.

I tried to use his abilities to my advantage.

En mi primera batalla, mi oponente utilizó el mismo invocador que yo, este invocador que resta -1 de daño mágico y -1 de vida a las cartas del oponente.

En esta batalla los elementos disponibles eran únicamente dragón, vida y muerte.

Entre las reglas de la batalla podemos ver que si hacemos uso de cartas con ataque a distancia se verán afectadas, ya que recibirán daño al atacar.

Por eso pensé que mi oponente solo usaría cartas con ataque mágico, así que con mi invocador estaría reduciendo esa magia, aunque también tenía cartas con ataque a distancia, pero era por una buena causa.

Intenté usar sus habilidades a mi favor.

This battle was won by me, I think the use of cards with ranged attack was good, although not recommended, but it was good.

Also cards like Junker gave a good support in the battle, you can see the battle in its entirety by clicking on the link that is here next to it.

Esta batalla la he ganado yo, creo que el uso de las cartas con ataque a distancia fue bueno, aunque no recomendable, pero fue bueno.

También las cartas como Junker dieron un buen apoyo en la batalla, puedes ver la batalla en su totalidad haciendo clik en el link que esta acá al lado.

Second battle/Segunda batalla

For battle number 2, I used the fire element.

I like this element a lot, because I have some good cards in it.

In this round we could not use cards with healing ability, so I was not threatened if my opponent used earth element, the earth element has good cards with this healing ability.

Besides that for this battle, the magic attacks would first have to destroy the armor before doing critical damage in life, but undoubtedly the cards that gave a good battle were these two that I have marked in the previous image, because one of them is a gladius card, and another is a card that regenerates the armor of my main card.

Para la batalla número 2, use el elemento fuego.

Me gusta mucho este elemento, pues tengo algunas cartas buenas en él.

En esta ronda no podíamos hacer uso de cartas con habilidad de curación, por lo que no me vi amenazado si mi rival usaba elemento de tierra, el elemento tierra tiene buenas cartas con esta habilidad de curación.

Además de que para esta batalla, los ataques mágicos primero tendrían que destruir la armadura antes de hacer daño crítico en la vida, pero sin duda las cartas que más dieron una buena batalla fueron estas dos que he marcado en la imagen anterior, pues una de ellas es una carta gladius, y otra es una carta que regenera la armadura de mi carta principal.

Battle

It was a really good battle, my gladius card ended up with a final +6 melee damage, and to my surprise none of my cards died during this battle.

I think this was the #Brawl battle I liked the most.

Fue una buena batalla de verdad, mi carta gladius termino con un daño final de +6 de ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, y para sorpresa ninguna de mis cartas murió durante esta batalla.

Creo que de todas esta fue la batalla de #Brawl que más me gusto.

Third battle/Tercera batalla

In this battle I thought that my opponent would use fire element cards.

For that reason I placed a card with good life in the last line to avoid the Sneak.

But it didn't work out as I thought haha, and he used his earth deck.

As I said at the beginning, this deck has good cards with healing ability, and here I did not hesitate to make use of them, and although I had +2 points in total attack power, my opponent managed to defeat me.

En esta batalla pensé que mi rival haría uso de cartas de elemento fuego.

Por ese motivo coloqué una carta con buena vida en la última línea para evitar a los Sneak.

Pero no resulto como lo pensé jaja, y dio uso a su mazo de tierra.

Como lo dije al inicio, este mazo tiene buenas cartas con habilidad de curación, y acá no dudo en hacer uso de ellas, y aunque yo tenía +2 puntos en total de poder de ataque, mi rival logro derrotarme.

I lost this battle because of the use of his healing card.

In addition, my gladius card also failed some of his attacks and this also affected a lot his stats increase, I lost it and with much regret I say that my choice was the worst.

Esta batalla la perdí por el uso de su carta curadora.

Además, que mi carta gladius también fallo algunos de sus ataques y esto afecto mucho también a su aumento de estadísticas, la perdí y con mucha pena digo que mi elección fue de lo peor.

Fourth battle/Cuarta batalla

For this battle, the rules indicated that Sneak cards could not be used, so the card that was in the last position would be free from receiving any damage.

Here I took advantage of this to make one of a magic attack card with the vampirism ability, being there he would be attacking and increasing his life and in case he was alone on the battlefield, he would have enough life to win on his own.

But I also admit that my opponent used very good cards, but the use of my gladius card in the second position also affected him a lot.

Para esta batalla, en las reglas indicaron que no se podía hacer uso de cartas Sneak, así que la carta que estuviera en la última posición estaría libre de recibir daño alguno.

Acá aproveché esto para hacer uno de una carta de ataque mágico con la habilidad vampirismo, al estar allí estaría atacando y aumentado su vida y en caso de queda solo en el campo de batalla, tendría la vida suficiente como para ganar por su propia cuenta.

Pero también admito que mi rival uso cartas muy buenas, pero el uso de mi carta gladius en la segunda posición también le afecto mucho.

You can see how good it was to make use of this card in the second line, because although it became first line, its good increase in stats made it invincible for my opponent.

I like the way it turned out, with an attack power of +9.

Pueden ver lo bueno que fue hacer uso de esta carta en la segunda línea, pues aunque paso a estar de primera, su buen aumento de estadísticas hizo que fuera invencible para mi rival.

Me gusta como quedo, con un poder de ataque de +9.

Fifth battle/Quinta batalla

For this battle use fire element cards.

I didn't think my opponent would use this summoner, it gives very good abilities plus the +2 life increase it gives to all his cards.

In my case it did not work very well, I think I also made a very bad choice in this round, although thanks to a battle condition all the cards matched the life of the monster with more health, but that hurt me much more.

Para esta batalla utilice cartas de elemento fuego.

No pensé que mi rival usara este invocador, da muy buenas habilidades ademas de ese +2 de aumento de vida que les da a todas sus cartas.

En mi caso no funciono muy bien todo, creo que también hice una elección muy mala en esta ronda, aunque gracias a una condición de batalla todas las cartas igualaron la vida del monstruo con más salud, pero eso me perjudico mucho más

My opponent really used good cards, with good abilities that prevented me from doing damage to his life, because his armor regenerated in each round and that prevented me from being able to remove it from my path.

I also had a card with explosion and those cards do good damage, I lost this battle too.

De verdad que mi rival uso cartas buenas, con buenas habilidades que me impidieron hacer daño a su vida, pues su armadura se regeneraba en cada ronda y eso me impedía poder quitarla de mi camino.

También tenía una carta con explosión y esas cartas hace un buen daño, esta batalla la perdí también.

Sixth battle/Sexta batalla

This battle is very similar to the first battle shared in this post, but with the difference that my opponent here is using a fire summoner.

His summoner gave him a life increase, but it didn't give much result, because with my death summoner I removed that life increase again.

And his summoner also increases the melee attack, but you will see that the result of this battle was very different from the first one.

Esta batalla es muy similar a la primera batalla compartida en este post, pero con la diferencia de que mi rival acá está haciendo uso de un invocador de fuego.

Su invocador le dio aumento de vida, pero no dio mucho resultado, pues con mi invocador de muerte nuevamente quite ese aumento de vida.

Y su invocador también aumenta el ataque cuerpo a cuerpo, pero verás que el resultado de esta batalla fue muy distinto al primero.

Battle

Here you can see that the increase of my gladius card was much better than in the first battle.

It was really great this battle, plus my scavenger card also increased its life with each death of my opponent.

In this battle none of my cards died.

Acá pueden ver que el aumento de mi carta gladius fue mucho mejor que en la primera batalla.

De verdad que fue genial esta batalla, además que mi carta con habilidad carroñera también aumento su vida con cada muerte de mi rival.

En esta batalla ninguna de mis cartas murieron.

It was a good round of battles, it really is always unpredictable what can happen, and that's why I like this game.

Fue una buena ronda de batallas, de verdad que siempre es impredecible lo que pueda pasar, y por eso me gusta este juego.
