Today I want to tell you about my personal journey on Hive, my goals, the games I play, and my outlook for the future.
🃏 Splinterlands
This wonderful collectible card game was my gateway into Hive; it’s thanks to it that I found out about Web3 and the whole world connected to it.
Well, what can I say—after four long years, I’m still here playing and having fun every day. There are times when I don’t have much time to play, but as soon as I get a moment, here I am back in battle with you.
I keep accumulating SPS from brawls and battle rewards, trying to reach my goal of 10k in staking. Of course, I also keep building and leveling up my card deck to grow and climb the leaderboard, keeping an eye on market deals.
One of my dreams is to be able to fully play by also utilizing lands, which right now, due to technical reasons, I’m still not able to use.
🧑🌾 dCrops
While browsing around, I came across this farming game. I was a bit hesitant at first; it’s not fully accessible and I ran into big difficulties in the beginning, but with a little effort and some help, I got my small farm up and running.
I consider it a timeless game that never gets old. The only downside is the absolute absence of the creator and developers, which makes me a bit worried about its future.
I still play it, and I've saved up the 25k for the lottery wheel, but I’m not sure whether to keep investing or just stop there and play with the seeds and plots I already own.
🎸 Rising Star Game
The "old new thing." I’ve been hearing about it for years, but I never really paid attention to it, thinking it was something completely different. Instead, it turns out to be a really fun and engaging game.
I immediately got caught up in this musical career; I invested a bit into it, and now I play daily to complete my missions and keep my ego in check.
I’m currently at level 27 and aiming for 30 to unlock the third mission on the second map. The band-creation feature (which is still locked due to my level) looks really exciting to me.
For anyone who wants to play without pressure and pass some time, it’s the ideal game—plus, it helps support the actual careers of budding musicians who are aiming to make it big in the global music scene.
📱 The Socials
I’ve used PeakD, Ecency, and also Waivio to look up guides, read updates, and follow users that I consider absolute legends in the various games I play, but I had never thought about starting to write myself.
I have to confess, I’ve really gotten a taste for it. Even though I won’t be around much over the next few days, I already have other posts ready to share with you, hoping they bring you some value.
I use a bit of all the social platforms; each has different features and they aren't always accessible, so I just switch between them depending on what I need to do.
I’m afraid you’ll have to put up with me, because I’m having way too much fun!
🚀 Future Steps
We are almost at the first of September, which means Hive Power Up Day is just around the corner, and I’ve already loaded up my wallet to do my power up.
All the rewards from my posts go straight into HP, giving me the autonomy to publish and comment without running into Resource Credits issues.
Right now, I’m supporting three projects with small delegations: Ecency, Splinterboost, and Discovery-it—all initiatives that I follow and love to support.
I aim to grow in this world, my new world, so I’m fully committed to supporting Hive and its future developments.
There are many new game projects and a few apps that I’m keeping an eye on, like MyDempire for instance. However, it takes me a bit of time to fully wrap my head around them; it’s always a bit complicated at the beginning when you use a screen reader, but step by step, I’ll get there.
One last thing: I’m sorry, but I’m going to keep making noise about accessibility. I do it in my daily life, so there’s no way I’m not doing it here!

Questo meraviglioso gioco di carte collezionabili è stata la mia porta di ingresso in Hive; è grazie a lui che sono venuto a conoscenza del Web3 e del mondo ad esso collegato.
Beh, che dire, dopo ben quattro anni sono ancora qui a giocare divertendomi ogni giorno. Ci sono periodi in cui non ho molto tempo per giocare, ma appena ho un attimo, rieccomi a battagliare con voi.
Continuo ad accumulare SPS dalle risse e dalle ricompense di battaglia, cercando di raggiungere la soglia dei 10k in staking. Naturalmente continuo a coltivare il mio mazzo di carte per farlo crescere e aumentare la mia posizione in classifica, scrutando le offerte nel mercato.
Uno dei miei sogni è quello di poter giocare a pieno sfruttando anche l’utilizzo delle lands che ora, per questioni tecniche, non riesco ancora a utilizzare.
🧑🌾 dCrops
Navigando qua e là ho incontrato questo gioco agricolo. Ero titubante, non è del tutto accessibile e all'inizio ho trovato grosse difficoltà, ma con un po’ di impegno e qualche aiuto ho avviato la mia piccola fattoria.
Lo ritengo un gioco senza tempo che non ti stanca; unica pecca, la mancanza assoluta del creatore e degli sviluppatori, cosa che mi fa preoccupare per il futuro.
Ci gioco, ho messo da parte i 25k per la ruota della fortuna, ma non so se continuare ad investire o fermarmi e giocare solo con i semi e i terreni che già possiedo.
🎸 Rising Star Game
La vecchia novità di gioco. Sono anni che ne sento parlare, ma non ci avevo dato peso, pensavo a tutt’altro; invece è un gioco molto piacevole e coinvolgente.
Da subito mi sono fatto trascinare in questa carriera musicale, ci ho investito qualcosa, ed ora gioco giornalmente per compiere le mie missioni e per tenere a bada l’ego.
Sono a livello 27 e punto al 30 per sbloccare la terza missione nella seconda mappa, ma la modalità di crearmi un gruppo (ancora bloccata per il livello) mi stuzzica parecchio.
Per chi vuole giocare senza pressioni e passare un po’ di tempo è un gioco ideale, oltre al fatto di contribuire alla vera carriera di musicisti in erba che puntano a diventare qualcuno nel panorama mondiale della musica.
📱 I Social
Ho utilizzato sia PeakD, Ecency o, per esempio, Waivio per consultare guide, leggere aggiornamenti e seguire utenti che considero mostri sacri nei vari giochi che frequento, ma non avevo mai pensato di cominciare a scrivere anche io.
Vi confesso che ci ho preso gusto, ed anche se in questi giorni sarò poco presente, ho già altri post da condividere con voi, nella speranza che vi lascino qualcosa.
Uso un po’ tutte le piattaforme social, ognuna ha caratteristiche diverse e non sempre accessibili, quindi sfrutto una o l’altra in base a quello che devo fare.
Purtroppo dovrete sopportarmi: mi ci diverto troppo!
🚀 Passi Futuri
Siamo quasi al primo di settembre e ci stiamo avvicinando all'Hive Power Up Day e ho caricato il portafoglio per fare il power up.
I proventi dei post finiscono tutti in HP, così da darmi l’autonomia di pubblicare e commentare senza problemi di Resource Credits.
In questo momento sto supportando con piccole deleghe tre realtà: Ecency, Splinterboost e Discovery-it, progetti che seguo e che mi fa piacere supportare.
Punto a crescere in questo mondo, nel mio nuovo mondo, quindi mi impegnerò nel sostenere Hive ed i suoi sviluppi futuri.
Ci sono tanti progetti di nuovi giochi e qualche applicazione che sto seguendo, ad esempio MyDempire, ma per capirli bene mi ci vuole un po’ di tempo. È complicato all’inizio per chi usa uno screen reader, ma piano piano ci riuscirò.
Un’ultima cosa: mi spiace, ma continuerò a rompere le scatole sull’accessibilità. Lo faccio nella vita quotidiana, figuriamoci se non lo faccio qui!
