Splinterlands: My Third Escalation Pack!
Good morning, Splinterlands fam! Happy Sunday — this is @zusi78.
Renting cards is fine, but today I decided to try my luck and buy an Escalation pack to see what's in store for me. This will be my third Escalation purchase. The cards will definitely be mine, and I’m excited to develop them for the future.
Meanwhile,these are my positions in the two horse race I am in this season. Modern ranked and frontier ranked respectively.
MODERN RANKED(DIAMOND III), at 2,940 rating with over have 42k plus end of season glints earned already,with 6 days to go.
FRONTIER RANKED(GOLD I)at 3,020 rating,my target is 4,000 rating.
Splinterlands is no walk in the park,but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥
PURCHASING AND OPENING THE ESCALATION PACK.At 5,000 DEC per one.
I am so satisfied with the monsters inside the pack, especially having Ashveil Tactician(weapon training) and Ballista Deadshot among them,two powerful damage dealer in battlefield especially at higher levels.I would just be upgrading them gradually.
OPENING FOUNDATION PACKS. After opening the Escalation pack, I decided to open the Foundation packs I had accumulated: four packs, a total of 20 Foundation cards.These are free cards, gotten from winning frontier ranked battles.
Two Archons (Aurelia and Marlai singariel) is a big plus to my foundation cards collection. The thing is, I upgrade these new ones to a certain level and sell them in exchange for DEC. Because 90% of my foundation cards are fully maxed already over time.
GLADIUS CASES OPENING.A brawl just ended and my Guild(NFG Club-Legion II) came top joint first position.After the share of the spoils(2,056merits and 28.834 staked SPS),I visited the Guild store to check the merits I have there. 
The merits were less than 4k plus.So I topped it,so I can buy at least two gladius cases,that contains 10 gladiators.
Another epic pull(MARISOL CONTUMA), my gladiators collection is growing gradually. I had a swell time doing all these.

For me,Escalation packs are important because they can strengthen your collection and give you access to exclusive event rewards.
For a collector or investor, the appeal is scarcity and the possibility that certain cards from the set become desirable as the meta evolves.
No way you opened that many packs and 0 gold foils 😱
The chance of pulling gold a gold foil is so small+2%). But I have to keep it up 🤗

@atnazo, In that post I did three pack opening:
An Escalation pack, 4 foundation packs and 2 gladius cases. I don't think there gold foil in any Sir! I just scanned through.
