Splinterlands:Saltwater Mage & Mystic Scaleweaver: Magic Mayhem Crushing Foundation League! 🔥🌊

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

Sportlight Duo
Without further ado,I have been grinding it out in modern ranked this season,and I haven't really played much in foundation.So today I said let me do some battle in foundation and collect the fifteen victories for the day.It was amazing and with great speed on how I achieved that.And all thanks to my formidable and brutal duo of my epic water unit in SALTWATER MAGE and my legendary water unit in MYSTIC SCALEWEAVER.I just upgraded MYSTIC SCALEWEAVER to its Max level and took SALTWATER MAGE from level1 to level 2 respectively.I would certainly upgrade it to Max level soon.They both have devastating magic attack on opponents, especially if there is no restrictionn in their magic attack in the rulesets given on the battle at hand.

From the 3 chest I got from today's foundation victories, MYSTIC SCALEWEAVER was among the collections,a legendary unit of the water element.Hence, I didn't waste time in upgrading it.

STILL NEED SOME FEW UNITS TO FULLY UPGRADE IT.

But in all,this two magic att monsters are worth having in ones deck,they are so brutal when delivering their magic attack in battles and when the mana for each battle can accommodate them,I always ensure they are both included.

This was what led me to upgrade my Archon, MARLAI SINGARIEL,so that there wont be any impediment when doing my summoning.

Before I continue, these are the cards I got after opening my chest by completing the victories in foundation league for the day.I got two rare units and a legendary unit as shown 👇

Total cost of this battle was 28 Mana, and units can be chosen from the water,earth and life splinter The rulesets are;

1* all units have fury(deals double damage if the target has taunt).

2* all units have camouflage(cannot be directly targeted expect in the first position).

My Archon is MARLAI SINGARIEL,it boosts all allied units by +1 magic power at the start of battle.My tank is ASEL ALASGODIL, for divine shield 🛡️, then of course my formidable duo of Saltwater mage and Mystic Scaleweaver for silence(reduces enemies ability) and slow(reduces the speed of all enemies by 1) 🦥 abilities respectively.

At round one my opponent had more unit than I do.

Round 2
I took out his tank in this round.

Round 4
It was game over in this round, because it was two against one and i was at an advantage already,I later won the game.

CONCLUSION;
Magic Freedom Synergies

It is important to know that magic attacks bypass armor naturally, so both cards excel in armored rulesets or against melee-heavy foes.
Saltwater Mage silences threats while Mystic Scaleweaver slows for unhindered volleys.
No direct "magic boost" ability, but Sneak/Slow enable full, uninterrupted magic use in Frontier or standard battles.
