Splinterlands: Starting The Season with a statement Victory, With Rented Cards🙌

RENTED CARDS WON ME MY FIRST MODERN RANKED BATTLE OF THIS NEW SEASON

Good morning, fellow warriors! It's another new season, and I must say last season was satisfactory to me—judging by where I came from. Even with limited cards and being new to #Splinterlands, I still earned a couple of GLINTS and got admitted into the NFG Legion 2 Guild. To me, it's a huge achievement and an opportunity to improve and do even more.

As the new season starts, my count has been readjusted to 2500(Gold 1) to start again in frontier ranged,same goes for modern,readjusted to 500(Bronze 2) to start again.

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building. Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥

This season,I would be alternating between frontier ranked and modern ranked respectively.
In frontier,my main aim is to win 15 battles to get the 3 chests reward everyday till season ends.This is to enable me upgrade my foundation cards to maximum.

So far,I have upgraded 3 Legendary foundation cards to max level and they are; Mystic Scaleweaver, Little Sister and Great Bear Druid. While majority are in level 3 & 4 respectively.

Before I entered my first battle in modern ranked for his new season, I went shopping to buy some cards to fortify my deck. But the price tags were way too expensive, so I opted for renting instead. Here's what I rented, as shown below:👇

The total mana cost for this battle was 57,and you are allowed to chose from the dragon,fire and death splinters Good enough there is norules restrictions,for it says standard.

My summoner is Barthalamas for the +1 speed. My tank was Doomshield Warden able to give reach to a back-up tank.My back-up tank is Halfling Refugee with weary. Mindless Thrall,Chaos Evoker and Arachne skinwalker are my magic attack damage dealers.
My main goal with this setup is to keep my monsters alive while dealing damage and overwhelming my opponent.

Complete set for both sides.

Round 2

In this round,I already took out both his tank and back up tank, while I lost my tank.

Round 4
In this round it was already game over 3 against 1 and I went ahead to win the battle and it was my first battle in modern ranked and my my first victory.
