Splinterlands: When Your Dragons Need Sustain – Bringing in the Healers! 🔥
Good morning warriors!
Some opponents have incredibly strong decks and can completely shut down your dragons. Since I don't have "Dragonlord Mancer" yet, I decided to rent two specially-used "Corrupted Healing Carriers" instead. I was confident that as time went on, on the battlefield, I would need them to support my dragons. And they are Inept Healer and Arachne Weaver.

Splinterlands is no walk in the park, but that's what amps up the excitement.A winning strategy weighs stats, abilities, rulesets, mana caps, and beyond. That's why you must factor them all into your deck building.Toss in strong cards to boost your setups, and push hard to rack up as many victories as possible! 🔥.

FEATURED CARDS:
As I mentioned earlier, I don’t have Dragonlord Mancer in my collection right now, so I decided to bring in these two units instead. Both Arachne Weaver and Inept Healer have the Corrupted Healing ability, which I’m really interested in.
For this post, I’ll focus more on Inept Healer.
Inept Healer is a Legendary Fire Dwarf unit (3 mana) from the Conclave Arcana edition in Splinterlands. She's a versatile mid-range support/magic attacker with a strong anti-magic defensive kit + team sustain.
Card Stats (At max level)
Mana Cost: 3
Attack: 2 (Magic damage)
Health: 5
Speed: 5 (quite fast for a support unit)
Race: Dwarf
All Abilities (at max and progression)
At level 1(Bronze),it has Magic Reflect.
Magic Refect:When hit by Magic attacks, it reflects a portion of that damage back to the attacker. Excellent against magic-heavy teams.
At level 2 (Silver),it gains Corrupted Healing ability.
Corrupted Healing:each round,it heals all other allied units for 70% of their max health (rounded down).
Cannot heal itself, and units at full health are skipped.
At level 3(Gold),it gains another ability called Phase.
Phase:It gives the unit a chance to completely avoid incoming Magic attacks. Makes her very slippery against magic damage.
At max level(diamond/champion),it unlocks her final ability called Void.
Void: It reduces or nullifies incoming Magic damage. Combined with Phase and Reflect, she becomes a strong anti-magic specialist.
the Corrupted Healing ability is exactly the same, whether it is:
Granted by Dragonlord Mancer (via his Tactics ability), or
Naturally possessed by monsters like Inept Healer or Arachne Weaver.
Exact Mechanics (Universal for All Sources)
Each round, the carrier restores 70% of max health (rounded down) to all other allied units.
The carrier cannot heal itself.Units already at full health are skipped (no heal, no penalty).
Market Value:At max level and for regular foil, this card is sold for $25.91 and it can be rented for 137.69DEC/DAY.Quite an expensive card.

Recommendation:
Use her alongside Arachne Weaver for double Corrupted Healing. Prioritize rulesets or matchups where magic damage is common. If you face a lot of physical/melee opponents, she can feel “quick to die,” so consider swapping her out or shielding her better.
Overall Verdict.
She’s a good rental/addition for sustain-focused Dragon/Fire teams, especially when you don’t have Dragonlord Mancer. She shines in magic-heavy or long battles where her anti-magic defenses + team healing can keep your lineup alive longer than the opponent expects. However, she’s not a tank — you must protect her with positioning (backline/mid), taunt units, or fast-kill strategies so she survives long enough to pump heals.
Inept Healer is a solid mid-tier Legendary unit. The more you play her in double Corrupted Healing setups, the better you’ll understand when she excels and when she struggles.
