Well well then, Hello again!

I will start out giving out some #Splinterlands cards while trying to figure out how to how to eventually get back on Hive. Maybe making this a re-occurring theme on my page will force me to create more posts to discuss and follow about.

I've been thinking a lot lately...

I haven't solved my personal follies yet, and I've been pretty tired lately (I mean really tired, as I've slept through two weeks). I also have both a figurative and literal Sword of Damocles hanging over my head now, and the deadlines are closing up fast... Also, trading futures really isn't my thing.

My "writing career" has also been on hiatus for a while, as I've been concentrating on the more pressing issues like how to lose money quick on future exchanges. I wonder if I should've just not done anything instead. I'd be much wealthier. But I got scared.

Let it be a lesson I guess.

Does anyone have any ideas on conjuring up lots and lots of cash out of thin air?

Outside monetary issues, we've been doing pretty nicely. Ninnu and Muffin are both very lively, and I've been taking them out 3 times a day. (I should really try to add one more daily walk, since both I and them need the exercise.)

I'm not getting younger. I'm turning 48 in June. Although I still feel like a wee lad when it comes to aspirations. It's just that time itself seems to be on a constant fast-forward when compared to my teenage years.

(Gym. I need to start going to the gym again. I have 4 more paid months left on my membership.)

Kiemis is slithering about in her vivarium every now and then. She's a fully grown corn snake at 1.2 meters length, and she's strong too. A girl from our neighbour comes to visit every now and then to see her. She wants to own a snake of her own one day. (I wonder whether her parents will allow her one. I seem to recall her dad one day asking what the prices for snakes are.)

I wonder where our world is heading these days. It seems that more and more normal and pretty much decent people are been called racist, sexist, fascist and white supremacist, even outside Twitter now. I would never have thought that we'd be seeing a future that a cult leader and murder conspiracist Charles Manson was warning us about. I thought he was completely cuckoo. But alas, recent history seems to prove me wrong time and again.

I left Twitter some time ago (before Musk took over), so I've been detoxing myself in a way. Not having had to have too many fiery political discussions to the point of losing sleep over. Which is a good thing I think. No one should have to go through any of that shit. Twitter was a madhouse. (I don't know whether X is, nor do I care.)

Miro is currently sick, out of school, in a flu or something with sore throat and stuffy nose. I had that too, still a bit under the weather in fact. The allergy season is also starting, so there will be plenty of sneezing and stuffiness to come within the next two months.

The snow is almost completely gone, as the temperatures rose to over 15°C in these last two or three days. It is very dusty, and the days are windy, so it probably doesn't help with allergies.

On other news, Vera finally decided to apply for a drivers' license, went through the training, and eventually received it, so today she got to drive our car for the first time. It's a good thing to have two drivers on the longer journeys. Leo will be up next I suppose.

Back to being a "writer".

I wonder if I can get restarted on "Tonttu" and my other brain-child, the one with a bunny protagonist that was supposed to be a childrens' tail that ended up being a much larger project, a neo film noir style story (that I ended up discarding for posterity). I hope I can. There's so much on my mind lately.

I wrote so much more here, but ended up deleting almost half of the post anyway. Maybe I will write about the other things later. There are things to consider, and to ponder and I don't really know where to start. So I guess this'll have to be it whether I know it or not.
