Splinterlands - Finally some cards

Play2Earn is getting to be more popular so I am working to grow my account on Splinterlands and other blockchain games (which I will share in later posts) as a part of my plan to grow my total crypto and NFT assets.

Another season has come and gone and this last one had its own challenges in a number of ways, including the system unavailability at the end of the season.

So to start with, I need to learn how to play. Enough said when you look at my stats. To do this, I will be reading more of the posts in the Splinterlands community to get tips on match play.

My lack of skill in matches is evident by my Bronze rank of 23,552. There are a lot of players that finished ahead of me in the Bronze level. The number of players on Splinterlands has grown big time over the last two season so the Bronze level is getting crowded especially not that all the dices packs have sold out. The major ways to get cards for leveling up is to purchase, rent or win them as rewards.

My Ranked ratio was very interesting. I won 63 matches and lost 63 matches with 2 draws. It would be very hard to have that even of a win lost percentage. The good part is that I had 7 wins in a row.

But to rank higher I need to have a higher number of wins and longer win streaks.

Throughout the season, I was not getting any cards from the daily quests, just potions and small amounts of DEC except back on August 8th I received a Harvester card. So I was looking forward to opening my 7 season end chests from achieving the Bronze II level hoping that I would get some cards. I was surprised when I received 3 Rare cards and 1 Common card. The 252 DEC was a nice surprise as well.

OK, OK, to me this is a lot but to those that have been playing for a long time this is like bread crumbs. But I know that one has to start small to grow and accumulate as much as possible and the rewards should grow as well accordingly. My awards in a year should be huge compared to this season end's rewards.
