I stayed up super late to watch the first day of Steemfest in Bangkok, Thailand.
It was awesome to see all the different projects that are in place on the Steem blockchain.
I still have an issue on the lack of direction from Steemit in regards to their marketing plan or lack of. I might be wrong and they will present today or tomorrow.

Definitely agree, @jarvie's presentation was the most valuable I have watched so far.
I wrote him this morning to ask for his slides and any data he is willing to share. This with the intent to share with tribal leaders.

the presentation about SMT and them creating an SMT live and that we're already gonna be testing such an easy SMT system right away is a HUGE advancement. Yes of course more PR news about it is cool.
However in my personal opinion what they're doing with community aka what roadscape is talking about in 4hrs is even bigger.

I would like to see a trend toward seeing more general purpose presentations... more presentations that simply inspire people or inform them and give them educational tools that will make them better
I look forward to roadscape's presentation. Hopefully he will be more comfortable today, but in all super interesting times.
