I didn't look for mushrooms, but I found some.	Ich habe nicht nach Pilzen gesucht und doch welche gefunden.

When I climbed over a tree trunk during a forest walk in Slovenia last weekend, I saw these frozen mushrooms and had to think about the #FungiFriday initiated by @EwkaW.	Als ich letztes Wochenende bei einem Waldspaziergang in Slowenien über einen Baumstamm stieg, sah ich diese gefrorenen Pilze und musste an den #FungiFriday, initiiert von @EwkaW, denken.

I liked these frost-covered mushrooms and the leaves frozen on the tree trunk and their colors so well, so that I had to take a photo. As with the ice stalagmites (Ice Stalagmites / Eisstalagmiten) shown yesterday, I was unfortunately too lazy to use the macro lens and took the photo with the 70-200mm telephoto zoom lens.	Mir haben diese frostüberzogenen Pilze und die am Baumstamm angefrorenen Blätter auch farblich sehr gut gefallen, so dass ich unbedingt ein Foto machen musste. So wie bei den gestern gezeigten Eis-Stalagmiten (Ice Stalagmites / Eisstalagmiten) war ich leider auch hier zu faul, um das Makroobjektiv zu verwenden und habe das Foto mit dem 70-200mm Telezoom Objektiv geschossen.

That's a good point, I don't think my family has ever had any relatives in an english speaking country. Our neighbors moved to canada a few decades ago, but I don't think that counts ;)

There are a lot of old fallen trees in this forest and on most of them there are mushrooms. Unfortunately I have no idea, whether they are edible or not, but I would not want to test it ;)

They are only light brown and beige - so you think they might be edible @cloudblade?
I don't know anything about mushrooms and I know only 3 or 4 kinds which are edible, but I do not know these frozen ones ;)

So, you are not afraid of eating poisonous mushrooms @cloudblade?
Even if I would only get stomach ache I wouldn't eat such mushrooms. Unfortunately, I don't know an expert, who could tell us, if these mushrooms are edible or poisonous, but even if they were edible I am quite sure, that I would not be able to find this tree trunk again 😉

Hmmm - I didn't say "colorful", did I? I said I like the colors, and I still do, because they all match so well together ... but you know that, don't you, my friend?
BTW I love the darkness, and that's where I am going to in a few minutes, because it's still dark outside ... and cold and hopefully there will be a sunrise ;)

lol..you and Big Foot would not get along. You are too civilized for his company! I've read accounts of deer hunters seeing Big Foot grab the deer they were about to shoot and picking it up, turning it upside down and then crashing it into their knee, breaking it's back.

Do you think so, and do you believe that? We have been talking about these stories before, and as long as I don't see one single sharp and clear image of Big Foot I don't believe in any of these stories.

Anyway, you might be right, that I and Big Foot wouldn't go along, because he never takes a shower ;)

Oh yes, on the Big Foot question. The evidence is overwhelming because of the hundreds of thousands of encounters, hundreds of photos and castings of footprints verified by anthropologists, tons of hair samples, lots of photos and video but none close up.

Plus the Indians tell stories of dealing with them hundreds of years ago.

I would consider believing in the stories of the Indians, but I don't know what they were smoking in the ancient days ;)

I said I need only one sharp photo. Footprints can be manipulated and hair samples mean nothing - nobody and also no anthropologists have seen a Big Foot before and nobody has verified samples, and the photos and videos are all sh*t in my eyes - so my opinion is still the same: Big Foot might exist, or he might not exist ;) lol

Well there are hundreds of good videos and footprints which have been verified by scientists and other experts, plus the hundreds of thousands of eye witness accounts and the hair samples which come back as an unknown species so the evidence is overwhelming.

But the Indians did do alot of smoking back then. lol. We will have good photo evidence eventually if people don't freeze up and forget to take them when they see them.

Thousands of people haven't been able to take a photo? I need only one sharp photo or video out of thousands to believe, although I would love to believe that such creatures exist 🙂
I know a guy from seeing him sometimes. I think if you would let analyze his hair they might also say that these are from an unknown species ;) lol

Howdy again sir johannpiber. I think we will get that one super clear, closeup photo someday. I was going to tell you that I was talking to a steemian who is a Native American... about Big Foot.

He said the tribes know all about Big Foot because they have dealt with them for hundreds of years, even fought with them. But he wouldn't say anymore because I'm not Indian.

He said there are certain things that the Indians will not tell the white man and that is one of them. lol.

As I said, only one real good photo would be enough for me to believe. I do know, there is something, but I need a proof.
The Indians might be right, but they don't show no proof neither. So you can believe them or not.

Well the Indians didn't have cameras when they were interacting with them the most but I do believe the traditional oral histories that they tell. They have a great deal of hidden knowledge and wisdom.

Of course there is much truth in their history and in the stories they tell - maybe most is true, but some stories are just grown like our legends of dragons and dwarfs and witches and vampires and such, but maybe they are true too.

Sorry for being so unbelieving, but as I said, I would love to believe it all, but I need real prove or see it myself.

I agree sir johannpiber. I think science has proved there were indeed dragons but I don't know if they flew as much or were as big as the movies portray. Witches and dwarfs yes but I don't think there's been any evidence of real vampires.

There's a kid in Mrs. J's jail that killed his mom because he thought she was a vampire! He's crazy of course. She doesn't have a problem with him but others there have, he should be in an insane asylum, not in a county jail.

Dragons might have been huge lizards and witches have known how to heal people better than the doctors. Dwarfs could have been Lilliputians ... and so on.

Maybe Big Foot was just a huge man with hair all over his body ;)

Do you know the book "Gulliver's Travels" by Jonathan Swift? The word Lilliputians comes from his book, but we call small people (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dwarfism) also Lilliputians, and I don't mean it in a bad way.

I have read the book and there was a movie too - I prefer movies over books nowadays, because I fall asleep after reading a few lines ;)

lol! That is so funny. I think it was supposed to be, I don't want to be laughing at you. But yes, I'm shocked that I can sit down on the couch and fall asleep even if I didn't think I was tired! I agree, movies keep you more entertained.
