Well.. the offline writing project is going okay. 3 down out of 5 and a few days left to spare.... However, Steem-Monsters has been a nice distraction when my brain feels a touch too fried to do any decent research or my writing style starts to just get too clunky or pompous...

The season finally ended this afternoon... and I managed to make a last minute surge to Gold 1... I've been a bit distracted with the games this last week... and there have been many games that I've just forfeited as I start the match up and then forget about fielding an actual team!

However, it was a decent draw for the season's rewards... a decent batch of rares and epics.... most of the rares will go on the open market in a couple of days when I have time to sort through them. The epics are still useful, as are the commons. Sadly, no shaky shaky legendary cards this time... it's actually been quite a while since I've seen that animation for the draw... soon, soon... it must be my turn soon!

This guy, the Naga Windmaster, is a new one for me... I had heard about him, and it is a new skill that he has that I've never encountered before. It will be an interesting card once it is leveled up, although he doesn't really have a great synergy with the Blue Magic Splinter. At the moment, at level 1, he is too expensive in terms of mana compared to the utility that he brings to the team... but hopefully, I will start picking up more of him.

Oddly enough, my Blue summoner is the weakest of my summoners... but has the widest variety of cards...

The dragon splinter is slowly being bolstered by another Manticore card... I'm still a way off actually leveling up my existing card... so I guess I'll hold this one in reserve for a bit.

I'm loving the Brownie for the Green Earth Splinter... at a cost of 1 mana and with the boost to speed and melee attack for the whole team... it's hard to find a reason to NOT play him... except in cases when I need to card slot more due to a high mana limit for the game.

... and my single Gold Foil draw for the season rewards... Ah well, it's nothing impressive... but I can't complain... a gold foil is better than no gold foil!
