So close again to CHAMPIONS I league!

Today's SteemMonsters journey honestly felt like a Deja Vu of what happened from the previous season.

Last season, I only needed less than 50 Battle Point Ratings to reach CHAMPIONS I league and get an additional 30 Loot Chests (150 Loot Chests in total) on my season end rewards. Unfortunately, I got ~10 losing streak and ended the season in the CHAMPIONS II.

Today, I only needed around 50 Battle Point Ratings again to reach the CHAMPIONS I league but unfortunately got 8 losing streak after. Lol Seems like CHAMPIONS I really is out of my reach with the current level of cards I have at the moment.

What's frustrating though is that I got the WATER SPLINTER as my daily quest for today, my 2nd favourite splinter to use after the EARTH splinter so i thought I would breeze through the CHAMPIONS I league today. Unfortunately, I got a dozen of level 3-4 Lord Arianthus Opponents today and Prismatic Energy above level 5.

As someone who uses magic attackers when using the WATER splinter, this is a very big problem to me. Most of my 8 losing streak today was because of this. My magic attackers died because of the opponents MAGIC REFLECT ability. Nothing weird really on opponents using monsters with a magic reflect/void ability, but this might be the first where I got matched up consecutively against those players.

Oh well, hopefully Lady Luck will be on my side tomorrow . XD
