Our hiking trip to Karhunjuomalampi in Pyhätunturi, Lapland.
(Edited)
Today we decided to pack up some sausages and corncobs, and took off for a hike in the hills, through a pass between Kultakero and Noitakero. We went to Pyhänkasteenlampi, and the Pyhänkasteenputous (falls of holy baptisement), up tbe sacrifice hill, and finish with barbequed sausages at the Karhunjuomalampi (bear's drinking pond).
Here are some shots I took with my phone:

Looking down from Uhrikero (sacrifice hill).
I'll be uploading the 365 project photo after sauna, and Lord of the Rings reading.
Edit: After reading to the boys, I fell asleep myself. Figures. Must retouch the photos today and hopefully upload some later.

Wow! Haha!! Uhm... super thanks 😁
I'll pay you back when I'm rich one day 😎😉
Yeah, hiking is a great way for your kids to be healthy and to see all these beautiful landscapes! :d
Dad of the year, heh.
Well, if the names of the places wasn't suggestive enough, I think I found the Finnish guy!
LOL. :)
What did the boys say about the views?
They clearly loved the sights. When we headed back to the cottage, Miro said something that confirmed this:
I bet he'll forget the small annoyances when he gets older. ;)
Leo shot many photos. I'm actually wanting to see what he saw.
He'll learn to ignore such things when he gets older. It may happen sooner and more suddenly than you think.
it must be a great Adventure !!
Nice Pics
WOW that is steep...and those stairs!
I am also doing some travelling right now so I advertised you in my last post and linked one of your pictures. I hope you don't mind. I can edit!
Cheers!
Thanks! No I don't mind at all. In a matter of fact I encourage it. All my photos are CC-By licenced, only moral rights apply.
