Why Does It Take A 20 Game Losing Streak?
It Is The Cards, Definately The Cards!!
I am reaching out to the awesome #oneup or is it #1up ? This awesome gaming community. As a newb player of #splinterlands with a starter deck. My next Quest is a Snipe Quest so any advice would be greatly appreciated.
1.) What is your favorite Splinter & why?
2.) In your favorite Splinter which Summoner would you buy or rent?
3.) Which 3 Monster cards would you buy or rent first?
4.) How would you stack them?
You help is much appreciated. Let's see if we can get a huge conversation started. Please reblog this post.
Onward With The Journey
Last night Oct. 30th I was trying to complete the Water Quest, alas I retreated to my bed a defeated man. I did not win a single battle. Not sure what I was doing wrong. I know it is a lot of luck depending on the level of the opposing player. The amount of Mana allotted for the battle also is a deciding factor. For instance high mana battles are an instant loss for me. My sweet spot is between 22 and 29.
Today was much better once I won that first battle the others seem to fall in line and boom Daily Quest completed in less than an hour. It felt very good especially compared to yesterdays losses.
This victory was especially sweet because because it promoted me to Bronze 3 With 5 Prize Chests pending. I have been Bronze 3 a few times. Losing battles in Splinterlands is losing for real as I have been hurled back down to Novice a few times in fact I beleive it will happen during my attempt to complete the snipe quest.

It is definitely tough starting out with the base cards but stick with it and you'll get there. For snipe, child of the forest in earth is going to be a good option. In general, if you can pick up or rent a wood nymph your earth decks will also be generally stronger.
Thank you for the advice I will definately follow it :-) You just received a new follower buddy :-)
