My Choice of Gifts & Beneficiaries For The Season - 267

There has been one thing I grew up to know and see my parents do whenever it comes to the time of the season and end of the year celebrations which is cooking in large quantity and sharing to the neighborhood especially those who are obviously obvious that they are needy and this has been what has shaped my reasoning in some way. I've come to learn that no matter how small it might be, it is a great blessing and answered prayers to some people.
Another instance that keeps ringing in my head and get to be the primary reason for my decision is one of the season when my mum had to give out of her reared fowls to a particular family and the comeback of the woman got me really emotional as she just kept thanking and thanking my mum with prayers that nearly turned curse. This really gave me the idea of what I would do or give as gifts to people if I decide to start such.
So answering the question from Ladiesofhive community won't be difficult to predict due to my explanations above. If I could give a gift that has great potential to do good for this holiday season, it will be raw food stuffs of different kinds like let's say rice, beans or semovita, Groundnut Oil and a live fowl.

Giving these items to people who could possibly afford it or manage around it would be a waste of effort as there are countless of needy people around me and in the community or society I found myself in, that will ever be happy that they will also be joining in the celebration of the season.
Though we are in a society where the rich still wanna get from the needy or getting and hijacking what is originally meant for the needy to be theirs whenever there's an opportunity but hopefully I'm able to get the real targets.
The season means showing ourselves love and we must act accordingly. Though money's nickname is "if I'm not available, do not plan behind me" and truthfully nothing can be done without money but if I am financially fit to shoulder this responsibility and execute this task, it is what I would so much love to gifts people who are in need so that they can also be a partaker of the festivities and celebrations as well.
I'll be dropping my 🖊️ here on the Ladies of Hive community prompt

Thank you 😊
Gifts of Food are often Life saving.
No one should not be denied food and nutrition, not just on Christmas but any time of the year. And seeing the joy makes it worth giving doesn't it @afrikens ?
I thank God for the variety of different Food Ministries that have been working hard to keep up with the sheer numbers of people in need of nutritious food and meals in my community in Canada. My province alone have 1.4 million people described with, 'Food Insecurity.' needing supplemental food. And the need had increased as the cost of living has gone out of control over the last few years.
I am careful to pick what organization getting my support. Large organizations like United Way are inefficient with staff salaries and administrative overhead. I prefer smaller grass roots volunteer organizations where more resources go to the needy.

Yeahhhh that's a close observation. Even most of these small organizations work effectively than the known or big organizations.
I'm glad to know you also support this in your own way. Your input is really mind-blowing
