DECKS: Biggest PeakMonsters update yet?
INTRODUCING DECKS ON PEAKMONSTERS
We are excited to introduce this BIG feature that we've been working on for PeakMonsters.com

We believe this feature may have the ability to transform Splinterlands forever. But YOU DECIDE.

WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH DECKS?
- Use decks to help RENT every card you need in seconds
- Use "lineup" decks to help learn how to play or what to play
- Check "Thematic" decks to see the value of editions/sets/what you play with
- Send deck links to friends to help them know what to play with
- Use decks in your videos and posts as you share information about the game.
- Use decks to communicate between owner and scholars as to what they like playing with
- Use decks to share with sites like NFTY Arcade the cards you want them to put into their system
- Use decks to buy an entire edition at a certain level in no time. (new Splinterlands investors welcome)
- The opportunities are endless
TOP PLAYERS / CONTENT MAKERS
- We are taking applications to be tagged as a "DECK PRO"

ANATOMY OF DECKS
- New menu to get to DECKS page
- These are lists of cards made by anyone and everyone
- You can see your faves, the ones you created or by default ALL DECKS
- There is a special title for DECK PRO (top players, content creators)
- There are "lineup" decks and "thematic decks" -- LINEUP are decks with 7 cards (aka LINEUP for battling), THEMATIC decks can contain up to 250 cards
- Price of the FULL deck ... rent and buy
- Click on the deck and you get information about each card. Including a quick button to rent/buy the cards you don't already have.
CREATING DECKS
Here is a quick overview on how you can create decks:
- Build manually
- Import Decks using a battle link
- Import Decks using cards in your collection
When navigating in your DECKS page, just click on the BY ME tab and then choose between the Build and Import options. From there, you can start creating and sharing your own decks!
Note: We will be creating a separate step by step post on how create decks. Stay tuned.
IMPORTING DECKS WITH A BATTLE LINK
Keep in mind that when importing decks, you are not limited to real matches. You can also import battles of other players and choose which team to import. You can do this with any type of match -- including brawls and tournaments.
This is perfect if you want to study the lineups that other players, including the ones that you regularly compete with in tournaments!
SHARE YOUR DECKS
More and more players have been loving the DECKS feature and sharing their lineups on https://peakmonsters.com/decks.
We would love to see more of it and we encourage everyone to share what they did on the comments section below or through a PeakD post. If you create a post about DECKS, don't forget to share it with us or use the #peakmonsters topic-tag as we always support PeakMonsters related content through votes, sharing on social media & reblogs, and token tips for awesome content.
Sharing your decks is easy -- simply click on the share icon beside the Deck name and then you'll get a deck link copied to your clipboard.

What a fantastic feature!
Do you plan to add more filters? Like modern/wild and only card above a specific level? So that it would be easier to find a deck for a target league and format :)
I really love the idea to be able to rent - for example - a CL + Reward deck to play at Diamond/Champ, like you can do on NFTy, and I would like to easily see how much would it cost to pay the rental expenses (instead of getting a cut on my earnings).

This is huge! So if I'm understanding this right I can build decks and rent out everything else that's not a deck? Or do I build decks and then rent out the decks? I'd rather have a deck I built for myself to play with and then rent everything else out if possible?

As for the use-case that you have mentioned, it sounds like what you want to utilize is the CARD LISTS feature.
From your collection, you just have to select all the cards that you want to play (or rent out, however you want to go through it), add it in a list. Then tick the lists in filters section to show only the cards that you don't wannt to play with.

OK have been making lots of relevant DECKS, to support a mix of personal and perceived community needs, some feedback, in no particular order of interest.
1 when selecting cards to make a deck, when one hovers over a card, a bigger version of the card appears over top, this bigger cards HIT BOX prevents the ability to hover over the card next to it when the selections area is very populated, making it difficult to change single card options or even remove a card, , , (needs a fix)
2 when selecting many cards to be part of a deck, once the population of a row is complete, it pushes everything down and ones mouse is no longer able to select cards without scrolling down and realigning, with the row of selectable cards, this can cause one to accidentally begin pressing options and other buttons on the screen around that level of the screen and all of a sudden, lots of crazy happnin,,,,(needs a fix)
both 1 and 2 eye would call EASE OF NAVIGATION FIXES
3 already spoken about by the main dev, a single button to attempt to rent the entire DECK in question, , , (exited for this)
4 in the all DECKS section, the ability to click on the NAMES section, so it organizes in relevant numeric alphabetical order, the current default organization feels a bit chaotic and seemingly engineered to favour the DECKS made specifically by PEAKMONSTERS (???)
5 the ability for the community to chose what they feel is PRO through consensus,and not just the dev having the ability to program PRO next to all their DECKS because they essentially own the site and CAN do that for themselves. Having the inability to filter by NAME in alphanumeric order keeping all of the devs DECK choices at the top coupled with them all saying PRO next to them, filters all of the noob attention on just favouriting and choosing those selections without the rest of the selections having a natural sense of equality, so feeling the need for a more platonic representation of the communities efforts and the option for the community to selects what they feel are hi quality arrangements, themselves. Maybe a ratings meter, or some other INCLUSIVE way to generate respect and attention for certain DECK arrangements, and their creators that may fall into obscurity, who have created equally good DECKS or arrangements that are similar to ones previously made, but didn't know that at the time of making one....
all comes from love and constructive sense of observation and growth, towards a better platform
Rarely these days can we do anything original, yet our unoriginal efforts still have the value of the efforts provided, and that effort has value and needs to be accounted for and recognized.....
It is quite easy in this life to take advantage and benefit from the lack of knowledge and intelligence of the majority, most do this. However, it is our responsibility to help develop and cultivate knowledge and intelligence within our developing culture, lest we prove to ourselves and each other that we are no better than a hungry exploitative corporation, in a higher dimension (blockchain).....
We are only truly as effective as our communities are knowledgeable, wise and aware.....

6 Also seems we are cut of from making more decks after making 20, def more combinations then 20 DECKS worth of cards to make DECKS from.......( increasing this to 100 as a minimum would be super great )
Potentially, activate a higher number of DECKS that can be created by an account by say having some PKM token staked / locked in, for every certain ammnt of PKM u get say 10 or 20 more available DECKS to be created. This would also be a sorting measure to say who is taking their deck creating more seriously then say others who r totally fine with 20 or less.......

As for this, it is sorted by number of users who marked it as favorites. It just happened that at the moment, most of the decks with the most favorites count is made by the peak-monsters account. To further clarify which might probably address your point #5, there is no incentive for the PeakMonsters team to put the decks that we made at the top of the list. We are continuously adding and inviting more players to be "DECK PRO".
Do you have any specific column sorting feature that you wish to be added that you think would be a great QoL addition for everyone? :)
thank u so much for ur response , love working together to grow things like this, also for the clarification u provided on some points. If as in column search ur referring to clicking on a word atop a list to sort ( like say when organizing card collection and can click on too and the sorting changes ) then yes, for sure, the names one in general, just basic name of the decks and also a sort by account that made them, so one could click there and see a tidy list of stacks of the same creator and all they have made public , to get a nice gist of the arrangements they offer, would.love that.
and if league would say show if a thematic deck was say all bronze level, then the league would reflect that, or that u could select the intended league from the selection options when making a thematic and then that would make clicking league at top.of column sort everything relevent league order, that's it for sorting, cus price is always changing live, so column sorting that can be a bit misleading.
also added a idea to the peakmonsters feature base, to potentially increase the total ammount of deck a creator can create , by say staking some PKM or some kind of tokenized power up or offering , to increase the max ammount....
