Splinterlands weekly battle challenge: Enchanted defender the undisputed bodyguard

This week battle challenge is about a very old monster that has been in existence for ages and it is a a very defensive monster just as its name says, Enchanted defender is a common card and also neutral which means it can be used along with any splinter as long as the rules doesn't exclude neutral monsters...

This steaming and sputtering pile of power is the result of years of secret Gloridax experimentation. The Enchanted Defender combines the latest magical technologies (stolen from Azmare) with indestructible metals from the quarries of Khymeria. Its Power Core is made from the concentrated sap of the Burning Land’s Everburning Trees, and spied gear systems from Gobson have provided its complex inner-working. The Dragons named it "Defender" as a sort of cruel mockery, knowing full well that it was designed to destroy.

The monster with one life but blessed with armor that makes it hard for melee and range monsters to take it down easily, the magic monsters snd monsters with poison are its biggest weakness....

so i was paired with #red-dog in a battle to the death given two rules which are earthquake and up close $ personal rule ....

LORD OF DARKNESS

When it comes to only melee can be used, no monster can be compared to lord when used at the front as it is always brutal with its enrage and stun ability, only the monsters with dodge and speed do escape its brutality in some battles, i placed it at the front cos i know only the lord can secure that position better...

CORRUPTED PEGASUS

The pegasus serve as the heal tank for the lord of darkness and it also fit in the rules of the battle as it is a flying monster and won;t be affected by the earthquake rules, it did really well in making the battle a victory...

SKELETON ASSASSIN

I love using the assassin for its poison, if the enemy use enchanted defender at the back to defend just like i did, my assasin have higher chance of taking it down with a single strike by its poison which works 50% of the time....

CREEPING OOZE

I needed this card to slow down the opponent so my monsters can attack first and probably use that opportunity to eliminate the opponent faster and that works, i attacked first...

ENCHANTED DEFENDER

The enchanted really contributed to the win of this battle because the opponent sneaky monsters lose 2 life for hitting it and the earthquake made them lose the rest and that made the opponent lose its fighters...
