Hello guys,

Today I am going to share with you few of my battles in @splinterlands.

First battle details:
I played with water splinter. And my opponent used life splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 20 mana with two rules:
Exsplosive Weaponry: All monsters have the Blast ability.
Taking Sides: Neutral monsters may not be used in battles.

Lineup.

I had my ALRIC STORMBRINGER level 7, KELP INITIATE level 7, CAPTAIN'S GHOST level 4, RULER OF THE SEAS level 4 and PIRATE ARCHER level 3.

And my opponent had his/her cards as MOTHER KHALA level 5, SACRED UNICORN level 3 and HIGH PRIEST DARIUS level 2.

Let me talk about monsters that I used in this battle.

~I chose the summoner ALRIC STORMBRINGER. level 7

This rare water summoner adds +1 to magic attacks of all friendly monsters. This card needs 3 mana.

~KELP INITIATE. level 7

Rarity: RARE
Element: WATER

ABILITIES: Cleanse at level 3, Triage at level 7.

This is a water monster, in this level it has , Speed (6), Health (8).

It has two abilities at this level which are-
Cleanse : Removes all negative effects on the monster in the first position on the friendly team
Triage : Heals the friendly back-line monster that has taken the most damage.

He needs 2 mana.

~CAPTAIN'S GHOST. level 4

Rarity: RARE
Element: WATER
Attack: MAGIC
ABILITIES: Affliction at level 1, Oppress at level 5.

This is a water monster, in this level it has magic attacks (3), Speed (2), Health (7).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Affliction: When a monster with Affliction hits a target, it has a chance of applying Affliction on the target causing it unable to be healed.
Another ability at level 5 is Oppress: Does double damage when attacking an enemy that has no attacks.

He needs 7 mana.

Attack: MAGIC
ABILITIES: Blast at level 1, Switfness at level 2, Silence at level 3.

This is a water monster, in this level it has magic attacks (4), Speed (3), Health (5).

It has three abilities at this level which are-
Blast: Does additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster.
Switfness: All friendly monsters have increased speed.
Silence: Reduces the magic attack of all enemy monsters.
This card needs 6 mana.

This is a water monster, in this level it has ranged attacks (1), Speed (1), Health (2).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Blast: Does additional damage to monsters adjacent to the target monster.

This card needs 2 mana.

On the battlefield.

In the beginning of this battle most of my monsters were targeting my opponent's SACRED UNICORN. my KELP INITIATE was protecting my team. and both my opponent's monsters were targeting my KELP INITIATE. At first I thought that healing of SACRED UNICORN could be a problem but I was still confident in my victory because I had a lot of magic power.

It seems that even I underestimated my team's magic power- the battle was over really quickly.

In this battle I won 15.442 Dec and 60 League Rating. My strategy worked well- my KELP INITIATE protected my team from frontal attacks and my mages did a lot of damage. I think that my team was good and and I don't think that it needs any changes.

Second battle details:
I played with water splinter. And my opponent used life splinter against me.

It was a battle of total 42 mana with one rule:
Back To Basics: Monsters lose all abilities.

Lineup.

I had my ALRIC STORMBRINGER level 7, GOBLIN MECH level 5, CAPTAIN'S GHOST level 4, PHANTOM OF THE ABYSS level 4, RULER OF THE SEAS level 4, MAGI SPHINX level 3 and ALBATROSS level 2.

And my opponent had his/her cards as TYRUS PALADIUM level 5, KRALUS level 2, ALMO CAMBIO level 2, DEFEBDER OF TRUTH level 4,MAGI SPHINX level 3, EVANGELIST level 4 and PEACEBRINGER level 3.

This is a neutral monster, in this level it has melee attacks (5), Speed (3), Health (8) and Armor(6).

It has one ability at this level which is-
Piercing: If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of a target's armor, the remainder will damage the target's health.
Stun: When a monster with stun hits a target, it has a chance to stun the target causing it to skip its next turn.
This card needs 10 mana.

~CAPTAIN'S GHOST. level 4

ABILITIES: Affliction at level 1, Oppress at level 5.

Flying: Has increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters that don't have Flying ability.
Another ability at level 6 is Tank heal: Restores a portion of the monster in the first position's health each round.
This card needs 1 mana.

In this battle I won 11.14 Dec and 24 League Rating. My strategy perfectly. But I am not sure if this time my strategy can even be called a strategy. I simply believed that my magic power will crush my opponent. My prediction was right. The only thing I would consider changing in this team is ALBATROSS. I think that with this battle rule I should have picked FURIOUS CHICKEN instead of ALBATROSS.
