Splinterlands Battle - A Battle with MINOTAUR WARRIOR.

I'm attending the weekly battle challenge of splinterlands.
This week's theme is MINOTAUR WARRIOR.

MINOTAUR WARRIOR is a monster of earth splinter. This is a monster.

This can level up to level 10 but for that I need a summoner of higher level also.
I don't have a summoner that's in higher level so I tried this monster on level 1 with my level 1 fire summoner.

Power: This is a nice card with 1 melee attack, 3 speed, 1 armor, 2 health in level 1.

Abilities: It has an ability named reach in level 1 and another ability named piercing in level 6.

Reach Ability: Melee attack monsters with this ability can attack from the second position.

This ability can be found at level 1.

Piercing Ability: If melee or ranged attack damage is in excess of the target's armor, the remainder will damage the target's health.

This ability can be found at level 6.

I played with earth monster team.

It was a battle of total 17 mana with one rule and that is-
Standard: No modification to the standard game play rules and mechanics.

This is a earth monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (4), Speed (2), Health (10).

It has three abilities which are-

Flying: Has an increased chance of evading melee or ranged attacks from monsters who do not have the flying ability.

Retaliate: When hit with a melee attack, monsters with retaliate have a chance of attacking their attacker.

Poison: Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.

This is a earth monster, in the first level it has magic attacks (2), Speed (1), Health (3).

It has two abilities which are-

Silence: Reduces the magic attack of all enemy monsters.

Poison: Attacks have a chance to apply poison, which does automatic damage to the target at the beginning of each round after the poison is applied.

This is a earth monster, in the first level it has ranged attacks (1), Speed (2), Health (5).

It has one ability in the sixth level which is-

Blind: All enemy melee and ranged attacks have an increased chance of missing their target.

This is a neutral monster, in the first level it has melee attacks (0), Speed (1), Health (1).

It has one ability in the fifth level which is-

Enrage: Has increased melee attack and speed when damaged.

Battle Details

My Battle

• Round 01
  
  Skeleton assassin of my enemy team attacked first and that first attack was on furious chicken of my team and it took off one blood of that chicken. Then minotaur warrior which is the theme monster of this week and then barking spider attacked haunted spirit of my enemy team. Then haunted spirit of my enemy team used it's ability heal and healed blood and then it attacked nectar queen of my team. Then nectar queen and then mushroom seer of my team attacked haunted spirit of my enemy team. The first round got ended like this. No monster died in this round.

• Round 02
  
  Skeleton assassin of my enemy team attacked first again in this round and that attack killed furious chicken of my team. Then minotaur warrior which is the theme monster of this week and then barking spider attacked haunted spirit of my enemy team. Then haunted spirit of my enemy team used it's ability heal and healed blood and then it attacked nectar queen of my team but haunted spirit missed. Then nectar queen of my team attacked haunted spirit of my enemy team and haunted spirit got died of that attack. Then mushroom seer of my team attacked animated corpse of my enemy team. The second round got ended like this. One monster from my team and one monster from my enemy team died in this round.

• Round 03
  
  Skeleton assassin of my enemy team attacked first again in this round and that attack was a success on barking spider of my team. Then minotaur warriot and then barking spider of my team attacked animated corpse of my enemy team. Then animated corpse of my enemy team attacked nectar queen of my team. Then nectar queen of my team attacked animated corpse of my enemy team and that attack was a huge success as animated corpse of my enemy team got died of that attack. Then mushroom seer of my team attacked skeleton assassin of my enemy team. The third round got ended like this. One more monster from my enemy team died in this round.

• Round 04
  
  Skeleton assassin of my enemy team which was the last monster of that team attacked again first in this round and that attack was on nectar queen of my team and it missed it. Then minotaur warrior of my team which is the theme monster of this work, attacked skeleton assassin of my enemy team which was the last monster of my enemy team and that attack was a success that the skeleton assassin of my enemy team got died of that attack. Theme card of this week finished the match. The fourth and last round got ended like this. Last monster from my enemy team died in this round.

Did my strategy work? What will I try differently next time?

Yes my strategy worked nicely and I might try similar monsters with nice powers next time when I do some battle.
