Splinterlands: My first month

Hello friends, how are you? I hope so

Here I am again for another post about Splinterlands.

I think it's interesting to say that my first contact with a Play to earn game was with Splinterlands and it started very recently, in this case, just at the beginning of last month (September).

So, having just completed an amazing one month of experience, I will share my learnings, the results, the difficulties and what I hope for the future.

The main learning I got with Splinterlands and its characteristic of play to earn was the deeper contact with this type of technology and, above all, with wallets.

I had obviously read about such points, and even already made use of exchanges to buy and sell coins, but never made direct and constant use of a wallet, which proved to be necessary for splintershards, as well as swaps to exchange coins.

I believe that "play to earn" is here to stay and will gradually replace traditional games, always evolving to a certain point where games that do not reward players will be passed over in favor of those where players receive some value as a reward for their efforts.

Can you imagine how many giant games we have today that could encourage "play to earn" and apply it to their ecosystems.

Anyway, talking specifically about Splinterlands, it is remarkable the evolution I have obtained over the last month of play.

The beginning is obviously difficult, not only for me, but for everyone, because there are many cards, many skills, elements, mana, card position, and all the items that directly or indirectly influence the battles.

But with time, and habituality, I learned a little about the good use of cards and the division of the battle according to the mana cap, aiming to adapt my team according to the probable team of my challenger.

I'm obviously still a total beginner, and I have only reached the Bronze I league, because I lack the power for Silver III, although I have already achieved a rating for Silver II, but inside the bronze league I already have a little experience and know what usually happens, but there is always some "whale" in bronze that shouldn't be there.

Let's look at my stats over a month of play:

As I said above to date I have only managed to reach Bronze I league.

I have participated in a total of 1,263 battles, which amounts to an average of approximately 42 battles per day during the 30 days, which I consider good for the time I have to play.

From the total of 1,263 battles I have 664 victories, totaling almost a 53% percentage of victories, which certainly can be improved.

My maximum ranking was 1,796, which can also be improved, and my longest winning streak was 16, which I consider good, I even made a post about it recently, although I could have reached almost 25 wins in a row, as I lost my seventeenth battle because of three lost attacks from my monsters. 😖

Currently my battle status is as follows:

My biggest difficulty is undoubtedly increasing my POWER levels.

My current power level is made up of approximately 90% rented cards, without which I would not reach 600 power.

So in order to move up in the leagues, I have been renting cards for this, but from the Bronze I league to the Silver III league, it is necessary to triple your power (from 5,000 to 15,000), which proves to be quite expensive.

Without participating in the Silver league I am restricted to the daily chests of the bronze league, which have been limited to granting potions, and very rarely low power cards, making it even more difficult to raise my power and improve the rewards.

This becomes a cycle, because without power cards I can't raise my power and improve my daily prizes to increase my power.

To the future I am obviously looking to evolve, improve my deck, and build stronger teams.

Currently I am focused exclusively on increasing my power and that is what I feel has "held me back" in the game.

My next goal is Silver III, trying in the near future to reach Silver I, once there I will make a new analysis of what steps I will take and what I will look for in the game.
