As a gamer i play video games since i was 8 year old, when my dad bought to me a Super Nintendo, i remember the first night we played together Super Mario World for the first time, the game came with the console, that's to me is a memory that i will hold forever.

So, why i said that?

I said that because all gamer who played any kind of game trough this years has one thing in commun, we played for the moments. We played for fun alone or with friends, we played for the pleasure to be in front of a monitor, we played almost to pure entertainment.

People old as me can say that all this new monetization wasn't offer to him, i mean, make money from playing games never was an option for the large majority of gamers. In the last years we've seen how much has been growing the competitive e-sport scenario, being accessible to many more people "make money" playing. But even with that, this remains "unfair" in many ways. Because to you really make money as the same in the oldest games unfortunately, you got to be a PRO PLAYER.

WHAT'S THE PRINCIPAL ATTRACTIVE?

So in my opinion as one of blockchain's main proposal, the decentralization come to bring a more fair environment to the regular player. Because the blockchain gaming brings a-lot of concepts that always been in the gamers mind, but they are applying in a real playable game.

One of the bizarrest things we have to accept if we play a MMORPG like Tibia, World of Warcraft or any kind of the genre is that "YOU DON'T OWN YOUR ACCOUNT", yes that's right and you can't do nothing about it, all your progress, itens and valuables are their data, all belonging to their servers and as all games today you can only negotiate your things inside the game with their exclusive currency. The only way you can try to sell is going to the parallel market and be subject of many unfairness methods.

So the True Ownership and Token Economics came to give to us gamers the real ownership of our itens,characters, valuables or in a appropriated word our assets. The most exciting possibility in my opinion is the easy way we can trade/sell our assets and in a matter of minutes passing by some DEX or even CEX you can get your funds converted in your bank account. So even if you played for a long time and didn't become pro sponsored player, you can easily sell your assets and be rewarded for all time spent in the game without appeal to the parallel market.

BRING A NEW PROPOSAL TO PLAYERS

So, with this two that i consider the most relevant changes on the scenario the incoming players will be able to not only play for fun, but also play to earn, and as the video game community keep growing without dispense the old ones we can also bring to our family table some returns of our fun, and not just expenses like it is now.

In my opinion this is the most attractive aspect to bring new players to this environment, but this is also a dangerous thing that this new industry have to establish strong policy as far as the risks that non-experienced players can be submitted.

Same as any kind of assets investment, each country has his owns policy to regulate the market, not with cryptocurrency right now but is obviously that this time will come, and also the responsibility of this new game industry will be proved.

EDUCATE US. ITS A CONCERN?

In the matter that blockchain games will have a great future i haven't doubt. But, as far we gamers start to explore this universe, we see that bad choices at the game can give a really waste and different than the regular games, the only thing you would lose is your time, but not here.

If you're a regular player and came to a Blockchain game without economic education, principally in this early stage you will have a good chance to LOSE MONEY and got frustrated with the feeling that you were tricked.

So i worry about the real trusting spirit between the player and the company's, how will be that relationship? Those companies will seek only a successful market cap or will be concerned to they costumers? They will bring content to teach or will let us improvise?

I said that because it will not be only games, it will be investments and as all assets investments you need to learn. And this teaching initiative will come from the industry?

GAMES I'M PLAYING

I get to know blockchain games trough CipSoft, because i play Tibia, being familiar with the cryptocurrencies i tried to play LiteBringer for a while in october, 2020 . Despite i got a good money buying cheap LTC, i didn't have fun playing, so i decided to quit.

One day, looking the feed at reddit i read a post showing some blockchain games, their names and basically their type. So as Splinterlands Splinterlands was a TCG i felt motivated to play as I already had experience with MTG and Hearthstone.
Being in the Hive community i get to know Hashkings and i'm playing it too.

On Splinterlands i managed to get Gold I in my first season.

In my first season playing Splinterlands i managed to get my investment back by the lucky of dropping cards plus the DEC(Reward Token), and this for me was all i wanted at that moment.For now i will keep playing and learning more about the blockchain and games.

I don't have a consolidated view of my gaming experience in blockchain, but for sure i think I'll have a good future as a player.

How Blockchain Technology will affect gaming?

So, in my opinion the blockchain technology came to empower a large number of players including the regular player, giving them a way to not only have more control of your asset, but giving them also the ownership and capability to feel free to sell it all if he want to.

And also, in my perspective it will bring a new way that the company's brand will relate with the player, in blockchain we have the governance tokens, that player will be able to vote and have a opinion in the game development(so we wait).

I expect that this new companies arrive with this governance and education policy raised in his souls, to us players feel more safe even dealing with our own money.
