SHARE YOUR BATTLE weekly challenge! Dark HA'on
Hello friends, I'm back with another weekly challenge!
This week's theme is:
DARK HA'ON
I've been using Death splinter so much lately, and this card is one of my favorite cards to use, especially in high mana battles.
Heres the link to The Battle if you guys would like to watch it :)
Ruleset: Melee Mayhem
Melee attack monsters can attack from any position
The general idea for my choice of monsters is to pick hard hitting/ tanky cards which usually cost alot of mana, since i have 50 mana to work with. With melee mayhem i can also put some high health melee monsters at the back and they would still contribute to the fight
Monsters used:
Dark Ha'on
My tank for this match, taunt ensures all enemy monsters will target him instead of my other monsters. Also has flying and a decent speed level so he has a decent chance of dodging melee/ranged attacks
Bone Golem
My second tank/melee dps, he can take the role of tank when Dark Ha'on dies. He is an effective tank against magic while Dark Ha'on is effective against melee and ranged. Since i dont know my opponents lineup i placed him in the second position in case he used a magic team (which he did lol).
Bone golem also has 3 melee attack so he can dish out substantial damage as a back laner with this ruleset.
Ancient Lich
With 3 magic attack and life leech, he can dish out damage while gaining health, making him great if the match drags long enough for him to leech enough health.
The only downside is his slow speed and low initial health, making him vulnerable to snipe/opportunity monsters who kill him before he leeches enough health to be a threat.
The Nightmare
This horse has high health, decent speed and blast but only 1 attack. I included him here to see if i can catch and kill any low health monster in the enemy's second spot.
Sand Worm
Sand worm. 5 attack with sneak. Need i say more? xD
It can decimate the enemies starting from its last monster, great against opponents who neglect a tank at their back
Phantasm
Phantasm boasts a solid 7 health, 4 speed and 2 melee attack with flying, he serves as a decent tank for my backline while still being able to dish out damage thanks to the ruleset used
The Battle
My opponent used a malric team with mostly magic damage, so my Dark Ha'on would probably get melted D:
In Round 1, my ancient lich managed to kill their frozen soldier and my sand worm killed their elven mystic. But unfortunately Dark Ha'on got killed by their team as well
In round 2, no one died, i was wearing down their lobstradamus while they were working on my bone golem. My sand worm missed his attack on their medusa unfortunately, and we head to round 3
In round 3, both lobstradamus and bone golem die while sand worm finally manages to kill medusa. By this point things were looking good and in round 4 we took the win :)
Even though i won, i think i could have done better in terms of team placement, nightmare is pretty tanky to be placed in position 4, where he is least likely to be hit. i think I'll try to place him in position 6, phantasm in position 5 and sand worm in position 4 next time.
That's all folks, thanks for reading!!
